Doctor Nefarious from Ratchet and Clank 3.
He's just a very cool robot.

I'm sure this doesn't count even though there have been DICKLOADS of Batman games, but I would be the Joker. That sadistic clown kicks SO much ass.

I'd be like Castlevania's Dracula. Ive always liked the idea of having an enormous castle full of undead servants all for myself. And if I get lonely ill just fly out and kidnap a lady.
+1

I dunno. I generally play the bad guy in games where I can. Like in Dungeon Keeper :D
(Obviously in most other games you don't really have any other option)

On topic, though, I'd probably be Lethys from Black and White... With a Creature that big, what more do I have to do to be awesome?

If you could be a video game bad guy/villian, who would you be and why?
Cthulhu is more of a literature villain.
Hate to be the grammar police, but it is spelled k'tulu, but i agree with you all the same.

Oh? [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cthulhu]

Cthulhu has also been spelled as Tulu, Clulu, Clooloo, Cthulu, Cighulu, Cathulu, Kutulu, Q?thulu, Ktulu, Kthulhut, Kulhu, Thu Thu,[2] and in many other ways. It is often preceded by the epithet Great, Dead, or Dread.
As for me? Malygos [http://www.wowwiki.com/Malygos], though how much of a villain he truly was is debatable.

Actually Lovecraft made his name spelled in as many ways just so his creation would be more interesting.
And Amnestic just showed you how many ways it could be spelled(having destroyed by ownage upon thee).

My good sir or madam, thank you for the scientific resolution to the matter.
