Weeeeelllll I don't know if the idea was for it to be "allowed", just that as everything was getting spoilered anyway, I may as well toss in a "bonus" anime with a classic and excellent opening reel of its own.

Don, you fail at embedding
Let's give this a second go, because I'm interested as to what the "badass" theme is.

Oh, not at all! It was more of a friendly nudge and then a retry of what you'd tried to do so both myself and everyone else could finally see it. I failed pretty hard at successful embeds first time round as well.
Hee hee hee... hey, if we can get bonus anime, bonus hokey british stop-motion must be in with a shout.
...I still have my original 1983/84 (?) TTTE tape somewhere. Superior in every way except picture quality to the bastardised new series. Can't remember if I actually went ahead and picked up the (original!) welsh language VHS of Sam Tán that was going for 50p at a summer fair, though. Will have to dig thru the ol' box o' tapes... Definitely a rockin' intro though.
I believe what you have there are the Gummi Bears (aaauuugh!) and the long-lost, oft-forgotten Raggy Dolls. Which was one of the weirder and more unique shows out there. A bit ropey, but worth it for the toy-story-2-esque conceit and gentle moral message.
The tainted glasses of nostalgia might be blurring my vision, but this and the show itself was awesome, even though I was probably too old to watch them when I did.
