Shadow of the Colossus, naturally.

Every piece of brilliantly orchestrated masterpieces left me yearning for more since it did an exceptional job of embarrassing the atmosphere whether it be mysterious, dangerous, or even adventurous. Nothing comes close in my opinion.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1-4
Halo: Combat Evolved
Super Smash Bros. Brawl

I honestly don't even understand how they fit so much audio content onto the Brawl disk. It's literally bursting with music.

Oh wow. I didn't think anyone on here played MechW 2. God that brings back memories.
I'll always remember that robot woman telling me after I get ready "All systems nominal."

Oh man where to start... I love the Disgaea soundtracks, all 3 of them. I will probably love the fourth one when it comes out too. Baten Kaitos had some pretty awesome music. The opening to Tales of the Abyss is one of my favorite songs of all time. I just finished the first Mana Khemia and that school song with the whistling was stuck in my head for weeks. Brutal Legend had an amazing original soundtrack in addition to all the licensed music which was also awesome. Persona 3/4 music was really fun to listen to, as was The World Ends With You. I'm just gonna combine all the great nintendo stuff and say SSBB had a really awesome soundtrack. I could probably go on for pages but I'll stop there.

My Personal favourite:

I'm something of an Inon Zur fanboy.

I also loved the 50's music used in fallout 3 and New Vegas, it really added to the immersion of the games.

"The World Ends with You" had a lot of great songs. Two of my favorite songs are "Give me All Your Love [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_3QckQU3nw&feature=related]" and "Satisfy [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVA5WfDYV-A&feature=related]".

The first "God of War" game has some great music too. My favorite being the "Minotaur [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIeOXBedKIQ]" boss theme.

The "Legacy of Kain [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VRHXK3Xgzw&feature=related]" games has some good songs too. Plus one of the best linear stories I've encountered in single-player video games.

Finally, just to show my age, "Planescape: Torment" is another favorite of mine. I knew I was going to love the songs of this game when I first heard the "Sigil Battle [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAiypc2wsOA]" song.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and Fallout, and Call of Duty 2.

Morrowind still takes it for me, though, as in my own opinion the music from this game was Jeremy Soule's own taste of heaven set before us lucky schmubs to listen to and drool in awe, forged from the very power that the Nerevar himself had in his disposal...

I really liked portions of the DRagon Age soundtrack, but they're disqualified for not including the Ostagar theme on the album they released (and, indeed, making the track they title Ostagar "Orzammar"...grade 1, people!). By dint of there being little to no original music in any of them, I am also discounting the Star Wars games.

Deus Ex, Planescape: Torment, Starcraft II, Warcraft III (in fact, the Warcraft series in general)...it's hard to pick just one. If I had to, I would have to say Crusader: No Regret. Not only a great selection of tunes, but a command to switch music at will while playing the game!

Are you kidding? Battletech/Mechwarrior is one of my favorite sci-fi story universes. It's like Dune but with high-tech prevailing and is FAR more expansive. Likewise, the Mechwarrior game series (especially 2 and GBL) remain in my top 10 favorite games I've ever played.

Chrono Cross, by leaps and bounds.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, for ethereal bliss.

The Suikoden series, mostly I and II, for just having some excellent scenes to go with the music. That guitar music in Suikoden I gave it quite a mature feel despite being a first generation PSX title.
