The Resident Evil series Let's Play (starting with 4, moving backwards) by The Dark Id is great. He also did really good ones for the Drakengard series and Nier.
^ His LP for RE4 is comedy gold.
Also, the LP for Dwarf Fortress: Boatmurdered is classic entertainment.

Start there. Never leave.
OH GOD, I just read the entire "Bureaucracy" LP in under 2 hours. I think I've gone insane. At least I didn't play it myself though! Pure evil. I think Douglas Adams hates gamers. The LP was well written though.
Now read this one:

And then, read this one:

When you are done, give these a shot:

And then, try:

have fun.
Hah, you're really championing LPs, that's for sure. I actually read Boatmurdered already, it's pretty damn good, but I'll be sure to check out these other ones.
Well, all of the ones i linked are especially hilarious, especially
creative LPs that all use a narrative to tell the LP, instead of just plain commentary.
TIE-Fighter is basically a legend, the LPer 'can't find his disc' so he 'recreates' the whole game from memory with MSPaint. Hilarity ensues.
Swoon's Monster Rancher LPs are fairly lengthy but
really really fun, the narrative revolves around a drug-addled, possibly sociopathic, reluctant Rancher and his trials and travails attempting to raise one fucking monster that doesn't disappoint him.
Breetai's Fallout 2 is also a legend, the runthrough focuses on a melee-centric character that was deliberately built with
very very low intelligence.
Did you know that the game is actually quite significantly different if you're playing someone with Downs-level INT?
Because it is.
And then there is Boatmurdered. You already know about Boatmurdered.
(And yes, I am using this quote as an excuse to get these links on another page.)
