Personally I stopped watching his videos a long while ago because... I don't know, just didn't really care for any of the games he was playing, but TheRadBrad is one of the friendliest and most cheerful guys doing Let's Plays. And he will have fun with any game.

He's doing a Heavy Rain let's play right now which I'm enjoying.

Best let's player I know about... I know barely any. Northernlion is probably the BEST let's player I know about, but Jesse Cox is the funniest... I know so few~ Yogscast is great too :D

The Resident Evil series Let's Play (starting with 4, moving backwards) by The Dark Id is great. He also did really good ones for the Drakengard series and Nier.
^ His LP for RE4 is comedy gold.

Also, the LP for Dwarf Fortress: Boatmurdered is classic entertainment.

Start there. Never leave.
OH GOD, I just read the entire "Bureaucracy" LP in under 2 hours. I think I've gone insane. At least I didn't play it myself though! Pure evil. I think Douglas Adams hates gamers. The LP was well written though.

Hah, you're really championing LPs, that's for sure. I actually read Boatmurdered already, it's pretty damn good, but I'll be sure to check out these other ones.

I want to second the endorsements for The Dark Id's work. Every LP he has done leaves me doubled over, aghast, or intrigued. Usually all three.

He also puts out work at a remarkable rate. His fans worry he's going to wear himself completely out, especially since he usually LP's games designed to give you an aneurysm.

The best one I've ever seen was Kikoskia's lets play of Ultima VII The Black Gate. I enjoy Northernlion's Binding of Isaac series (120+ episodes 20-50 mins long, this guy loved this game too much lol).

The Persona 4 Endurance Run on Giantbomb has got to be up there. They make epic jokes, get killed from full health by random Hamas when doing grinding runs and use Bufu on things they shouldn't!

"Tune in to the next episode to find out what we just did wrong..."

Also Sixbullets7373 is really good. He spent all of his Killzone 3 LP lamenting the fact that the Helghast can't win. He points out how superior they are compared to the squishy humans while shooting them in the face.

There is also rage at bullshit jetpack sections.

And his Mass Effect 2 Walkthrough is somehow so good I don't automatically skip forward around 15-20 parts just to get past the slower parts... Plus his Shepard is hands down the best looking one i've ever seen... He's pimpin' you might even say. The Helghast come up in this one as well it seems and who could forget... Mmmmmmetal Geeeeeaaaar!

I like lets plays where people dont talk so I can hear and watch the game not some idiot just babbling on trying to be funny and spitting stupid memes every second.

"Woah..see that? haha almost got me...oh it got me.."
That's the difference between a Let's Play and a simple Walkthrough.

As far as video LP's go, I really like Chip and Ironicus, especially the 50 Cent LP. As far as screenshots go, my favorites are the KOTOR II LP on the LP Archive and the Mask of the Betrayer LP that is also on the archive as well. It helps that they are two of my favorite RPG's but regardless of that, they're really well done.
Being modest? I've really enjoyed your Fallout 3/NV LP.

But I have to agree with you on that KotOR II LP. I'm glad CM156 recommended it to me. It had some wonderful commentary, and the creator of it had a great sense of humor.

I mostly just watch HCBailly and NintendoCapriSun for their RPG Let's Plays, but I'm getting a lot of my Let's Play fix by actually making my own (when I find the time to record, that is).

The only one I can really think of is Armake21, but his accounts have been closed several times. But one guy has managed to re-upload some of his stuff here [http://www.youtube.com/user/Armakearchive].

Best is either this one:

or this one:

"Video games awesome" is my favorite. but its not like the "traditional" lets play more like 3-5 people casually playing a game. Some of their videos are incredibly funny but not all of them. you can check them out at their youtube page

I only watch Toby Turner LPs, I don't know why, but most others bore me. I occasionally watch Yogscast, but I prefer Toby's because, although he recycles his jokes and is appallingly bad at most of the games he plays, I find him quite funny.

Well, all of the ones i linked are especially hilarious, especially creative LPs that all use a narrative to tell the LP, instead of just plain commentary.

TIE-Fighter is basically a legend, the LPer 'can't find his disc' so he 'recreates' the whole game from memory with MSPaint. Hilarity ensues.

Swoon's Monster Rancher LPs are fairly lengthy but really really fun, the narrative revolves around a drug-addled, possibly sociopathic, reluctant Rancher and his trials and travails attempting to raise one fucking monster that doesn't disappoint him.

Breetai's Fallout 2 is also a legend, the runthrough focuses on a melee-centric character that was deliberately built with very very low intelligence.
Did you know that the game is actually quite significantly different if you're playing someone with Downs-level INT?
Because it is.

And then there is Boatmurdered. You already know about Boatmurdered.

(And yes, I am using this quote as an excuse to get these links on another page.)

I thought the SpoonyOne's lets plays of SWAT 4 were hilarious, especially the later episodes where it got harder.

"You're in my way sir"
Didn't he only make like, 3 episodes?
Nah, he made a full series but like pretty much everything else he does it took him forever to finish it.
I can't seem to find it on Youtube. I feel like an ignorant douche asking this, but you wouldn't be able to provide a link, would you?
This is a link to the whole series-thing.

Many thanks, my good man.
I've been looking for this too. Thanks for giving the link and thanks for asking the question,

FFVIII and FFX from Noah Antwiler (The Spoony One) at the Spoony Experiment! Never laughed so hard in a long time after those. Plus he reviews other stuff and manages to be ridiculously funny at the same time (drunken rant on twilight: breaking dawn) and his warrior review with linkara. check him out if you haven't yet!
I honestly tried watching those, that guy pisses me off like no tomorrow, and I wouldn't get so pissed off if he A. Didn't nitpick most of what happens claiming it ruins the whole experience and B. Insult the people who enjoyed the things you didn't, for example, calling everyone who enjoyed FF9 a furry because the main character has a tail, and most of the cast being non-humans.

OT: Good Let's Plays? Pretty much anything by Slowbeef and Diabeetus. The Captain Novolin game was one of the funnier things I've seen, and their Dead to Rights let's play was great, as one of them liked the game, while the other hated it.
