I'm a big fan of Iceman. Just cos I like his power really. 2nd it'd be the Punisher, cos he's a hardcore no-nonsense vigilante.

I've always been a big fan of Captain America, not just because he's a mortal among gods but because of what he stands for--an exemplar of a bygone era of truth and justice (that may never have existed, a la Utopia) who finds himself in a world that needs him more than ever and is even less willing to admit it. One of my favorite quotes from a comic was from an old Avengers (several universe reboots ago) where Hercules said "On Olympus we measure speed by Mercury, power by Zeus, and strength by Hercules...but we measure courage by Captain America."

Consider that the guy has, armed with a frisbee and super-soldier serum that boosts him to the limits of humanity, stood alongside (and against) gods in combat and prevailed, excelled, bought victory through determination and tactical brilliance. In the end, he was brought low the only way he could be--not in battle, but by a sniper's bullet. Only taken unaware could the ultimate warrior be brought low.

Boom. Right there, that's why I like Captain America, he's not the most powerful but he'll still lay it all on the line against foes vastly more powerful than himself just because he believes in doing the rights thing. It's just so admirable..
I also like Deadpool, like just about everyone else here.
And I also like Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze mostly though Danny Ketch is okay, because it's just such a cool concept. Ghost Rider is actually one of the few characters who I think could use a Marvel MAX style reboot, and maybe we'll get that when he appears in the Ultimate Avengers book, though I doubt it because Ultimate Marvel sucks.
