It's not really a "quest" in the sense everyone is using it, but the questline that involves Teyrn Loghain in Dragon Age Origins. I love the interaction the PC has with him.

Edwin/Edwina quest from BG2
not really a quest in a rpg sense: the Love Fist mission from Vice City

OP, Classic. Also that one level in Sly 2 where you tango with the inspector.

Obviously it has to be the quest from Act I of Diablo II where you go back to Tristram to rescue Deckard Cain.

Because:

a)I doubt anyone who loved the original didn't get a shiver at the re-vamped music for Tristram

b)Hearing Griswald shouting "BRAAAIINNSSSS" never gets old

c)Finding wirt's leg as a weapon is a nice tip of the hat to return-players

d)Finding Deckard Cain is a great part of the lore.

Oldie, but goldie : Fallout2, New Reno.
You're supposed to "deal" with gangster businessman. Interesting way to do it is to gain trust of this sucker, sleep with his wife, THEN with his daughter, rob his place, betray him (through accepting his quest to kill someone, and exposing his plan to victim) AND finally going Desperado on mr. Gangster and his minions.
That's like ruining 150% of someone's life i guess...

I have become very curious as to what exactly the BEST QUESTS EVAR really are.
My Favorite is a bit in Oblivion, when you are locked in a house with several people, and you aren't aloud to leave until you kill the other guests one by one quietly. You stab them in the back and make them betray each other as they search for the true killer, and then you kill the final survivor just as they realize "YOU!? YOU ARE THE KILLER?". BEST...QUEST...EVAR!

This quest never gets old to me, and inspired me to search for more "BEST QUESTS EVAR!"

Tell me, what is your BEST QUEST EVAR and what game does it come from? (you can post multiple if you must.)
Yes...that one, honestly, you hit the nail on the head, I do not know any better quest EVAR

The Raven Rock questline in the Bloodmoon expansion for morrowind probably isn't the best; but, I thought it was cool how you saw the colony grow around you in semi-real time. It made me feel like I was actually a part of the colony and that my actions could make or break it.

I can't recall the name of the quest associated with it, or even if there was a quest associated with it, but Vault 11 in New Vegas was pretty awesome, just off the top of my head.

Ah, yes. There is a quest. It's called Democracy Inaction.

As far as Oblivion Quests go, I much prefer The Big Heist in Oblivion. Made me feel like Indiana Jones meets a master thief.

My favorite quest is actually Mass Effect's final part: walking on the Citadel exterior Sovereign looming in the background. Such an awesome moment in gaming.

It wasn't a marked quest if I remember correctly, but yes Vault 11 was pretty brilliant.

Fallout 3's Point Lookout had a really good quest called The Velvet Curtain. Was honestly the best quest in the entire DLC and game, I loved it.

I also really, really liked the final Thieves Guild quest in Oblivion. In fact, the whole questline was pretty damn fun, much more than the rest of the game. Haven't done the Dark Brotherhood stuff yet though, and I've heard good things about that. (Starting a new playthrough, just storming through the main plot because I never completed the main quest in Oblivion before.)

I loved For Auld Lang Syne in Fallout: New Vegas, after all of that work to get him to open up, he gives you this quest which is quite heart rending.

Followed up by I Forgot to Remember to Forget...that too is sad.
Add Veronica's quest, I Could make You Care, and I'm pretty much the same.

Also add Beyond the Beef, You'll Know It When It Happens/Arizona Killer, King's Gambit, Birds of a Feather, Ed-E My Love, How Little We Know...

...yeah I really liked New Vegas.
