The railway spike rifle from Fallout 3, stamping heads to walls is always fun, and the hidden blade from Assassin's Creed

How does a dick joke made of metal compare to the Death Star?
Hey guys, it's me, the Death Star.

Oh don't mind me, just getting destroyed twice by tiny resistance forces.
It took a team of 30 to defeat the Death Star. It takes far less to destroy a gun.

Oh, and the Death Star can destroy whole planets. Did I mention that?

While you all have brought up some rather interesting points, put them all together and they still do not come close to this in terms of raw power:

Sorry, but anything that slow and easily destroyed simply wouldn't compare with the sheer volume of imaginative possibilities that the Portal Gun possesses.

Can I be sill for a moment?
*silliness begins*
I could fire one portal at the Death Star, and the other into an ocean!
What if I put a portal on that medical frigate where the beam hits it and the other on the same frigate to send the beam right back?
I think you see where I'm going with this now...
*silliness ends*

I like the key blade because you can basically bludeogon the enemy to death whith a mystical impractical object.

Also, this is going back in time a little but the game `worms` had some of the best weapons to all time...exploding bananas, exploding sheep, holy hand grenades e.t.c

Gravity Gun. Beat a zombie to death with a mattress and tell me otherwise.
I have reposted that quote TWICE in the last two months. That is ridiculous

Favorite sword: possibly Gunblade from FF8 or a lightsaber (or two) in some shade of blue-green
and they actually seem bladed

Favorite gun: Pandora from DMC4 should logically have a gun that I like somewhere in it (and maybe a sword too). Or the chemical gun from Bioshock? Comes in napalm, electric goo, and liquid nitrogen flavors. Or maybe Artemis from DMC3 (maybe Pandora has it as a form). Rain of laser arrows for all.

I'm pretty sure the guidelines say something against thread necro-ing. Something like "restart if the thread didn't have a post in over a month" or something.

The Death Star Beam is always fun, as long as you know which planet the Rebel Alliance is on. For everything else there's Alderaan, the Red Shirt Planet.

One of my personal recent favourites is the Deathclaw Gauntlet from Fallout 3. What you do is you kill a thing that's basically a t-rex fused with a werewolf and use its hand to play Nightmare on Elm Street. The teenagers are played by guys in heavy armour and super mutants.

However, as a creative optimistic psychopath, I'd say that the Portal Gun does in fact reign supreme, if only for the fact that you can hide a superweapon in the middle of nowhere and use the portal gun to launch attacks from anywhere. No orbiting the planet to reach the moon with the rebel base on it. Also, I could drop people into a pit that's nowhere near me. AND watch them fall to their death.

Once you start thinking with portals, there's no end to the possibilities!

The greatest weapon ever would be this.

Not by a long shot, the handle's too small to use it as a sword comfortably, and the blade on the end makes it an awful gun.

The Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII just because the sword is like 2x bigger than Cloud and it doesn't break his back..

So, it's ridiculously impractical, and that makes it a good weapon how?

Indeed when you can hack your way through enemies with a sword that is completely impractical it makes you one dangerous killing machine.

Actually, that's pretty much the opposite of what it does. Seeing as your hefting a sword that probably weighs about 200 lbs, your not going to be able to swing it, and then your gonna get killed.
