First of all, holy shit, those are fucking huge. Also they are bronze and they must weigh a ton. Must be freaking expensive too, but you can't put a price on awesome. Wonder if they will be selling those to game retailers, or sending them as promo gifts...

Normally this is where I'd find something to nitpick or even some kind of existential complaint about the futility of crafting permanent statuary for a product in an industry where games are routinely forgotten only a month after they hit retail shelves, but in this case, I'm far more intrigued by the cluster formation you see in the above-embedded picture.
Well most games yes, if you made a statue of American Soldier 136342.

Bethesda games though tend to last a LOT longer (at least in my view) than most games available. Hell there's still a pretty big Morrowind mod scene last time I looked, with a number of people I've heard of playing it regularly.
Besides for "old time's sake" how many people play the original Call of Duty?

Otherwise I think this is sweet. Real metal statues would probably sell very well as a collectable as long as there aren't a bajillion of them, which by my math there looks to be around 44, if that is all there is.

Wondering if your marketing department has too large a budget?
*Points to the above pictures* ...That could be a sign.
Looking at them, they appear to be cold cast bronzes. Its 90% fiber glass and 10% bronze powder, only marginally more expensive than doing a standard shop mannequin.

I'd buy one.

Assuming they ever go up for sale.
This. An awesome game, and a freaky statue? SWEET! Plus, I think we just found the cure to weeping angels.

I hope those are just painted aluminum or they would be sooo heavy.

They're plastic, like those tacky santas and snowmen people put in their yards at Christmas. That said I'd love to put one of these out at Christmas.

You guys know that in 2000 years future archaeologists will be digging these up, realise they're nothing like as intricate or vast as the terracotta army and rewrite their history books to repaint the modern era as a second dark age.

Bethesda - fucking with historians heads for centuries to come!

I like it. Next I want to be buried next to one. Wearing a Darth Vader helmet. Holding a giant dildo enscribed "Baron GunboatDiplomat IV". Who says feudalism is dead?

Now THIS is what should've come in the collector's edition. I'd gladly pay $150 for one of these guys to put on my veranda overlooking the pool.
Yea. Especially if they come to life and murder for you.

And when Archaeologists find the N64 controller they would think there was once a separate species of humans that had 3 arms.

I really hope one of those shows up at my local store. But I doubt it will. Nebraska isn't really a high priority target.

Just replace the game's title with my name and years of living, and I'd have the greatest gravestone ever.

Ever.

That has got to remind you of the terracotta army, when they're all standing together like that. Looks pretty impressive.

I am so dangerously over hyped for this game I'm scared.
Nothing could be worse then finding out I'm disappointed in the finished product, though surely mods will come to rescue me in time, I'm looking forward to 11/11/11, not some unfortunate future year devoid of Skyrim's release but still full of development echoes working towards building the vessel up to it's true form.

I really should go play a clean install of Oblivion again to get my perspective forcefully checked, I'm usually better about keeping a realistic view on games, like way better.
I called Spore's exact release condition years before we saw it, much to my pain as others criticized my lacking faith.

Here though? My powers are smothered by hopes of 12" tall Draconic statues, tearless bronze armies, and stealth kill animations for all of the daggers I could fit in two hands. I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to build a character that can also competently tell which way to hold a bow and construct arcane formula for anything more fantastic than jello.

I'm going to be very underpowered in my first play through I think.

This looks incredibly awesome. Also batshit insane, because they look like they built a lot of them, and I have no idea how they will sell that many, but still 100% awesome.

I wonder if Bethesda will release some Super Ultra Ultimate edition that includes one of those statues.

I'd buy that edition alone for that statue.
