Not really a fan of the horror game genre. Upset that Bethesda isn't directing more effort towards a new Fallout game with a better engine.
Oh well, can't win them all.
Oh well, can't win them all.
Well they had to do that, as David Cage said - the next gen offers more polygons thus more emotions. I personally can't wait for dodecahedron or even...dare I say it...A SPHERE. Think of all the emotions!Karadalis said:I see some silent hill motivs thereyramid head evolved to "Safe" head?
Yeah, to me it looks like Resident Evil trying to be Silent Hill. But, to be honest, I'm ok with that.martyrdrebel27 said:so, I'm not the only one who feels those... monsters (?) were just retreads of previous games' characters, right?
Pyramid Head's younger brother, Safe Head finally gets a shot at the lime-light, and apparently he followed in his brother's footsteps of large melee weapon training.
and as for the 4 armed girl, you can't just throw 2 additional arms on Left 4 Dead's Witch and think we won't notice...
Not confined solely to this thread, unfortunately, but I agree that it's endlessly hilarious to see people instantly cry about how much of a rip-off it is and how they should be working on more sequels instead. Of course, even better is the few people who are basing whether they'll buy the game or not off of this teaser. You know. That shows no gameplay.Mcoffey said:Sure is a lot of cynicism in this thread.
Wow. Thats an awful hostile response considering how badly this was misread.cursedseishi said:viranimus said:Yeah really dissapointed for the choice to go with a new IP when there is a perfectly good IP to work with that is absolutely dying to be explored. Oh well.
And what IP (and I'm assuming that we are talking about Intellectual Properties here) would that be exactly? You are aware that Shinji Mikami no longer works for Capcom, right? He hasn't since roughly 2007. Furthermore, any "horror IPs" he's worked on are all locked into Capcom, which is how it works with damn near everything in the industry. And, quite frankly, Resident Evil is about the only Survival-Horror based IP he's ever worked on that's still kicking around.
If you're talking about Dino Crisis, it wouldn't matter anyways since Capcom has already killed that one off a loooooong time ago.
Bethesda isn't developing this game, you know. You wouldn't be getting any more Skyrim DLC either way.Spudgun Man said:I'm sorry WHAT?
To put it bluntly, we're losing out on potentially more content for Skyrim for an Evil Dead cash in?
Or another Dishonored, or another Fallout: New Vegas.Spudgun Man said:Looks like Bethesda have cooked up another Brink...
I believe it's Bach's "Air".rapidoud said:Sounds Baroque.
I know that piece, and I think it may be a Haydn one? Either way, Harpsichord strongly hints at it.
Although why the hell Baroque? 16th-17th century is an odd time to have your music from.
