Because looking at boobs under the label of "art" makes people feel classier than looking at boobs under the label of "porn". Cripes, I did the same thing in my younger days. Bloody traitorous of me, seeing as I like to think of myself as an artist.

Because Deviantart is such a train wreck of weird fetishes with only the occasional worthwhile gallery showing through the murk of pseudo-porn, all of my artwork goes on conceptart.org, where the community is deliciously critical and any nudity generally has actual artistic value.

Most of my art gets a single comment, or maybe two. The crappy fanart I (rarely) do is what gets the most attention, but I can almost assure you I'd get more views and faves than ever if I simply posted a picture of myself naked, taken in the bathroom mirror on my cell phone.

Oh hello my american friend. Yet another of you who has no idea what the word pornography means.
Its not =nudity. A naked woman standing around is NOT pornographic. The depiction or description of actual sexual acts is. So for a rule of thumb mates :as long as there is nothing stickin inside something, its not pornographic

As a DevART user, I also hate it. Mind you, there are some good artistic nude artwork done and posted, but then there's just general camwhore sluts, take a pic, throw on a time stamp and post it on DevART and BAM! 10k hits a day. (Or guys who just post porn, claiming it as art)
