Fun fact: I watched this on a computer that has no speakers, so I have no idea what was being said. However, I can't help but feel that several of those scenes, especially the beginning ones, are what the real ending should have been like. Shepard sitting on a couch talking with Tali. Liara waiting in Shepard's home. Garrus and Shepard dancing. Specialist Traynor in a sexy dress (or was that Ashley?) Jack getting laid. Seriously, this smacks of "How it should have been," and I will totally buy it. For the first time, I am actually excited about a Mass Effect 3 DLC. Oh BioWare, if only you had done this for the entire game...

Oh, did anyone else catch the half second where you saw Thane? Or maybe it was Feron or Thane's son, but it was certainly a Drell mixed in with the crew.

Eh, this looks like awful fan fiction.

Is it just me or was the facial animation and writing especially bad in that trailer?

It looks like kind of a fun way to say good bye to the series, sort of in like a non-canon Christmas special-y type of way, but only in a non-canon Christmas special-y type of way, otherwise it really clashes with the rest of the game.

Wait when does this DLC take place seeing how the whole pressure of saving the Earth from the Reapers wouldn't exactly give Sheperd plenty of R & R. Sure he had some in ME3 but still...
Also the ending crack me up despite being cheesy and would they really all get together to take a group shot?
Apparently this DLC can be accessed once you hit the first "point of no return" in ME3. So its pretty much right after

The attempted Cerberus Coup on the Citadel right after the Main Tuchanka missions.

Hang on... ..we have characters there who are *Spoilers* most definitely dead by part way through ME3, and other's who you won't see till after that point. Why do I have the feeling this is going to be some sort of hallucination on Shepard's part?
...?

The only characters who are "confirmed dead" are
Mordin and Legion
Everyone else is dead only if you messed up.

OT: This like the best fanwank I have ever seen.

God damn you Bioware, I WANT TO HATE YOU.
I think you missed one.

Thane, Mordin and Legion

Waiting for the edition that has all the DLC, and even then I might not buy it if it involves Origin... though my desire to see things through might overcome me eventually.

Garrus and FemShep dancing looked really cute. I plan to purchase it when it comes out on March 5th. I also need to get the Omega DLC too.

Man, this trailer makes me want it so much more!! But, seeing as the other DLCs were 'meh' overall, I'll wait and hear what the boyfriend thinks first (that, and I need to somehow make more room in my hard drive and get the money for it). God, I hope this isn't a disappointment.

And for all the people who keep saying 'the galaxy is burning and Shep is busy partying? Stoopid!', keep in mind that while Shep and co. are at the Citadel, they're gonna have to spend some time waiting for various reasons, such as the Normandy getting refilled with various supplies, getting new gear, and whatnot. Plus, at some point they need to have shore leave. Spending too much time involved in combat reduces a soldier's combat effectiveness, so at some point they need a break, lest they break. Soldiers got time off during WWII, but the whole world was at war. Would you argue that they should have always be fighting?
From what I've heard people say about situations like this, it seems to me that people have a hard time conceptualizing the necessity of downtime in a simulated environment without the game explicitly stating it. This is especially true with characters like Shepard, where most characterization takes the form of combat, preparing for combat, motivating his crew to fight and never backing down from impossible odds. Players never really feel the need for this downtime the way a normal person would "in world".

Tiz the way I see it, anyway.

Everybody say : "SHEPARD IS DEAD NO MATTER WHAT AND THERE IS A WAR FOR SURVIVAL GOING ON!"

Really Bioware?
Dragonborn: 20 dollars, and I spent nearly 30 hours doing everything there.

Citadel: 15 hours and not even 5 hours of content I bet.
Even if it was 10 hours (which it wont be) it would not be worth it.

My Shepard died, and you want me to buy a DLC all so he and Tali can make plans that will never happen?
Why not just punch me in the gut and steal my wallet instead?
Ugh.

Dont mind me folks I am just angry still at how a company I once loved has now devolved into an EA cashcow.

With Zaeed appearing, that means this DLC probably contains the last voice lines from Robin Sachs that were recorded. I'd say it's worth it just for that.
Me too, if its his last performance I have to get it. That guy brought so many characters to life in so many games.

Well, it looks like it took Bioware a year and three DLC's to finally give ME 3 a decent squad roster. I love Garrus, Liara and Tali as much as the next person, but I can only go with them in my squad for so long before I want to use another character.

That end shot was so bloody cheesy. Yet weirdly cute. I reckon I'll be picking this one up.

It's all silly fanservice of course, but Bioware wouldn't put it out if the people hadn't been asking for it. Perhaps they should stop trying to appease their idiot fanbase because they simply cannot win on that front.

Except for the fact that
You can save Mordin if Wrex is dead and you destroyed Maelon's data

I traded in my ME collection a while back. I wouldn't be getting this anyway, but I did like the riposte about trash-talking.

Whhaaaaa...?

If this is supposed to take place during the events of Mass Effect 3, why on Earth would Shepard be given a place on the Citadel to "recharge"? Earth is literally burning while he's sitting around drinking? Da Fuq?

Besides not making a lick of sense this is blatent fan pandering. But which fans are they pandering to? The only ones who would suck this kinda content up are the ones who were invested in the characters and... oh, why you only went and pissed those fans off with your terrible writing, didn't you Bioware? Damn, what now, huh?

For the record, I was one of those fans.

Call me when this is on sale on Xbox Live. I have a feeling it won't be worth it at full price.
