I think im the only Mass Effect Fan who Hates Liara. and Tali. God damm I love Ashly.
Amen brother. I honestly can't say I was ever 'wowed' by Liara or Tali, I admit I don't
hate them but as it stands I much preferred Ashley who was tough. I mean I still liked Tali and Liara but overall I think for a romance I'd rather it be Ashley.
Unfortunately it looks like we are in a minority when it comes to these things so it seems unlikely that Ashley will be appearing in a DLC any time soon.
Still one can hope I suppose, Mass Effect 2 just didn't feel right without Ashley. Still, there's always Mass Effect 3.

Though, I am kind of bummed that the human romance didn't get more of a resolution, just a small meeting consisting of bitching, and then a message.
I know right? I mean come on from promotional videos to trailers to early demo footage, Ashley was the most prominently featured female character. She was so obviously being set up as the leading lady of the first Mass Effect if that weren't obvious enough with her being on the cover of the game.
Now in Mass Effect 2 not only does she only get one measly small cameo but she is completely booted out of the game and there has been little to no further information about her, or Kaiden for that matter, and the future is left uncertain.
I know that I'm in a minority and that Bioware aren't under any pressure to please me with DLC when they can make three times the amount of money made from any kind of Ashley/Kaiden DLC having a short episode where the player takes Tali on a date (I mean no offense to you who I assume are a Tali fan, if the avatar was any indication, I was just pointing this fact out) but you know, it would still be nice to see some kind of
recognition from Bioware that a population of fans of Ashley DO actually exist, instead of what seems to just be a parade of:
"No, you don't love Ashley/Kaiden anymore. YOU MADE THE WRONG CHOICE AS WE ARE NOT GOING TO CATER TO YOUR EARTHLY DEMANDS!!!
HERE IS MIRANDA'S ASS, FALL IN LOVE WITH IT!!!"
Seriously, that makes me so mad. All I can do is hope that Casey Hudson was being truthful when he said that Ashley and Kaiden were being removed from the plot to keep them safe for the third, because otherwise I am insanely mad.
Also just realized something:
If Liara and Shepard can once again kickstart their relationship again, does this mean that Liara could end up being a member of the team for the final mission? Like if you download this before you've finished the campaign. Because if so then that means that Liara would have to be able to be killed off too, in which case that would mean that literally not a single teammate from Mass Effects 1 and 2 are guaranteed to be alive in Mass Effect 3.
A whopping sixteen potential teammates and any number of them could be dead.
