I hated Dragon Age one, and as a result, never bought Mass Effect, or its sequel.
However, hearing the revamped battle system for DA2, and the fact that they are throwing in a free game, Im definately picking up a copy.

Thats pretty cool. I remember how Darksiders came with a free copy of Red Faction and they didn't even tell you. Just had some code that would give you the game a few weeks after Darksiders was out. Made me like THQ a lot more.
Side note: I've got a good pal who has been wanting badly to play ME2 but isn't interested in Dragon Age 2. If there's anyone that isn't interested in using their free ME2 code I'd be cool if I could give it to my pal.

Seriously though, fuck those people and fuck anyone who takes offense at being given something for free. What is it with people assuming a single failure indicates correlation anyway? Yes, Dragon Age 2 is probably the weakest Bioware game for a long time, but that doesn't make it particularly bad nor does it indicate that Bioware is now going to spiral into oblivion. Disappointing? Yes, but that's no reason to throw your toys out of the pram...

Yea I just got the email. You know I wanted to play ME1 on the Xbox but I didn't have one at the time so I got it on PC. I have since bought an Xbox and played ME2 on it but I could not transfer my saves. Now it looks like I have that option if I wanna play thru ME2 again.
People are getting one of the best games of all times for free and people are still bitching.
