I don't know what to say, really.

I just think this is a large excuse for them to continue trying to get as much money as possible using a platform that limits their potential. This kind of a thing is really for people who can't develop mainstream, the occasional plagiarist or people merely looking for a way to get their name out there. BioWare - as far as I know regarding plagiarism - aren't those people and I'm absolutely baffled by their interest in this.

If they see something I don't, may I still remain blind to it.

Hey, this is Bioware country.
I thought this was Valve country that annexed BioWare country. Are you telling me BioWare country successfully staged a coup?

So don't read the articles on them, then. Problem solved.
No! Problem not solved!

Not until we manage to get the apples to attend to the squash gardens... that way we can free up the pumpkins to protect the pear tree.

I think I'm missing the point here. I didn't know about this game until this very second and even though the article is about it being a mistake, that screenshot and the quote about it make me want to buy it right now.

...screw it. I'm looking it up in the app store and if it's just a dollar or two I'm getting it.

edit:$1.99. Bet. I'll be back in an hour or so to whine about it and wonder why I'm so stupid.

They should put it on the Android marketplace. There's plenty of people that don't want or care for the iPhone and if those people happen to fans of the series they could end up missing out. Its like Hideo Kojima with the infinite Metal Gear games. I love the series but some games I will never play because I have no intention of ever buying an iPhone or PSP

True MGS sequels, only exist on Sony machines.
This is why I have a PS3. But the broken PS2 and lack of backwards compatibility means Snake Eater sits forever on the shelf gathering dust :(

I'm so glad I got a launch model.
I'm shaking my digital pitchfork in your general direction right now

That was not meant as a jab at you, I see a great many people who missed out on it when it was available, and honestly I feel sorry for them, while at the same time being immensely thankful that I had the opportunity to grab it when I did.
I didnt take it as a jab friend, it was a silly envious pitchfork shake. SHAKE HARDER BOY!!!
Sony did shaft everyone that wasn't an early adopter though, I just simply couldn't afford one until the revamp

What i want to know is what the hell that bonus they promised for mass effect 2 is. in the extras section of the app there was a tab that said "stay informed" which told you to type in your EA account for a bonus in ME2. Still gotten nothing though.

Hmmm, so Mass Effect Galaxy was a miss. Ok, that's cool, developing for a phone requires a different approach in order to succeed. Lesson learned.

What intrigues me is the idea of a phone based app that feeds into one (or more) of the actual games in some way. For instance, they could have done so much more with the mining mini-game if they'd turned it into a fun touch-game (seriously, I have no love for Apple but I can't say a bad word against Angry Birds or Peggle).

Thing is, looking at the way the smartphone market seems to be going at the moment, they really need to consider releasing any new Mass Effect phone app on both iPhone and Android.

Wait, Mass Effect came to the iPhone?

Well that's an idea doomed to fail.
No a spin off came to the Iphone. It was called Mass Effect Galaxies. You play as Jacob (Yes that same Jacob from ME2) and it tells the story between ME1 and ME2. It explains alot about Cerberous, how the SR2 Normandy really came to be and how they even found Shepards body in the first place.

Edit: Really good story, but bleh art style, gameplay and graphics...

Hey, this is Bioware country.
Well more like Bioware and Valve country. (Seems most people on this site are fans of both, or one or the other)

It's nice to see them take responsibility and not Peter Molyneux's false insulting
The next one will be one million times better than the last one, and it will cure cancer, I PROMISE just buy it before you try it, trust me
