After DA2 I'm not holding my breath anymore. There Elder scrolls and we have future rpg the name escapes me. I just want my robot arms.

BTW to all those who think ME2 was "dumbed down" it wasnt it was streamlined. Beleave what you will but mass effect is not an pure RPG nor is it a true third person shooter, its a hybrid of the two and a dam good one at that. If you cant find something you like in mass effect do us all a favor DONT PLAY IT! While i like seeing new gamers getting into what ibeleave is the best game series out there im sick and tired of people who go out get the game and then ***** and complain that bioware didnt make the game for them.

The combat system in ME2 was generally lame, better (perhaps) than ME1 but not by much. The reason I love the series is not in any way related to the repetitive shoot-cover-shoot-cover mechanisms but because of the interesting plot and RPG features. The Mako sucked, but the exploration itself was a cool idea. The inventory was clunky, but then you IMPROVE it, don't just strip it out for nothing. My advice to Bioware; stop trying to turn Mass Effect into something it's not (a mainstream shooter) and accept the fact that it is something much better and unique, an RPG Space Epic.

Bioware might as well come out and say that they no longer want to make RPGs anymore. Most of their games, while not bad, have been slowly changing and becoming more like everything else. I think in a few years, the "Bioware namesake" will go the way of the dodo.
I'm sure Mass Effect 3 will be great, I'm just not a fan of the homogenization of original games into the "more popular" appease-the-masses model. Why does a "shooter" have to be like "the top name shooters"? The top-name shooters generally suck anyway. I'm sorry, but if anyone thinks the "top-name" shooters are cutting-edge.. ugh, just ugh.
