I imagine it's a 2D XBLA platformer, not a Rage/Borderlands clone. I'm not overly (actually) excited about it but time will tell. As long as Bioware can get through the next year without another PR disaster I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

A Bioware Fallout-esque game would be awesome (it'd prob'ly be a lot better than what Bethesda have been doing, as much as I enjoyed Fallout 3), but I don't think the game will be quite like that, or on that scale.

Not going to get too excited / despondent until more is confirmed about what the game actually is.

I don't know exactly why...but I got this Outcast/Beyond Good & Evil vibe from that screenshot, after my initial "hurr post-apocalyptic sand and dirt" prejudice had waned a bit.
That's more plausible than my initial reaction.

My first thought was a new Rock n' Roll Racing... I loved that game.

EDIT: Heh, imagine if they trolled everyone and said it was Dragon Age 3.

F****g hell. I want more Dragon Age: Origins-like stuff, not more of their "let's try to get AAA games that everybody buys but nobody loves" bulls**t. Bioware, you were successful for a reason, stick to that.

Dear Bioware. If you make a post-apocalyptic game for me, I will pee my pants. And probably be impressed. Hopefully so. FINGERS CROSSED

Have to appease the shareholders.

I can't shake this feeling that with each passing title, EA is sticking its grubby little fingers deeper and deeper into BioWare's pie, and that their strong reputation for RPG development is being compromised in the name of grabbing as much money for EA as possible. It's pretty frustrating to watch.
