uh, is it possible that they are releasing the Dragon Age Toolset, or has that already been out since release?
This is so true.carpathic said:DLC is starting to bother me. I feel like companies are not releasing full games, then expecting you to pony up 20 bucks to really hav ethe complete thing.
Not on 360 it isn't, that'd be an awesome addition for the console gamers.Avykins said:Toolset is already out.
I want more party members too. Just for the giggle of more conversations.
Bioware have stated before that they are going to try and get the most popular mods over to the consoles later on.Avykins said:Toolsets are for making mods right? Consoles do not/can not have mods. So therefore it would be a waste of time.Beatrix said:Not on 360 it isn't, that'd be an awesome addition for the console gamers.Avykins said:Toolset is already out.

The game is 30 hours long. They released THREE full games without ANY DLC. I think they'ved earned the right to charge us for extra stuff now.Beatrix said:This is so true.carpathic said:DLC is starting to bother me. It's a sad day when the length of a game is now considered to be 10 hours. That's like a single game of Civ 4.TsunamiWombat said:The game is 30 hours long. 10 hours? Try 8 if we're talking singleplayer alone. If a game gets over 10 for 1 playthrough hrs I feel i've gotten my moneys worth. Dragon Age's length is -insannneee-.AC10 said:Probably more DLC I won't even think about buying.

Then you should really try Baldur's Gate 2. In itself the game is lengthy enough, but is has an incredible replaybility factor. I've played the game for two years before moving on to Icewind Dale 2.TsunamiWombat said:10 hours? Try 8 if we're talking singleplayer alone. There are several games that have over a hundred hours of gameplay, I don't see that dragon age was particularly crazy. It's a long game, especially by today's standards, and even compared to some older games, but I would hardly bill it as an insane amount of hours. Games are fucking SHORT now-a-days, it's disappointing. Though you clause your statement with a single playthrough, I feel multiple playthroughs should be compounded to the games length.TsunamiWombat said:10 hours? Hoping not I want more content again, I'm even willing to, do I dare say, pay for it?Firia said:I bet it's a new chapter of Dragon Age Journeys.
I really enjoyed Journeys. It was the final deciding element (it's story aspects) for my getting Origins. Not the gameplay, obviously. I'm all about story (story NUT). And I look forward to new chapters of Journeys.Lost In The Void said:Hoping not I want more content again, I'm even willing to, do I dare say, pay for it?Firia said:I bet it's a new chapter of Dragon Age Journeys.
Screw six, I don't understand this rpg unwritten rule where I have to choose who to take with me. If I have 20 party members I should be able to take all 20. Unless games can come up with a valid reason why I have to choose (You get around in a mini cooper, there are 4 seats so choose...) it makes no sense.Malygris said:Since there's absolutely zero indication of what the studio has up its sleeve, I'm going to fish around on my wish list for ideas and let me tell you, I'm wishing for a patch that increases the maximum party size to six. Seriously, guys, four just isn't cutting it; we had six in Baldur's Gate [http://www.bioware.com/games/baldurs_gate/] and I'd sure like to be able to cram a couple more swords onto Team Malygris in Dragon Age, too.
(Yeah, it'll probably be more DLC.)
I'm secretly hoping for more Journeys as well. Origins content would be great too, but that already has enough replayability to keep me busy for a while. A new Journeys chapter would be awesome.Firia said:I really enjoyed Journeys. It was the final deciding element (it's story aspects) for my getting Origins. Not the gameplay, obviously. Also my PS3 fans conked out (power surge), so I cannot play Origins while it's off being serviced. So, Journeys in the meantime. (And Gamecube.)
Video games are exorbitantly expensive to produce these days, compared even to 5 years ago. Where exactly do you propose this money come from?carpathic said:DLC is starting to bother me. 1. The market is also much larger now than it was 5-10 years agoWhiteTigerShiro said:Video games are exorbitantly expensive to produce these days, compared even to 5 years ago. Where exactly do you propose this money come from?
