My guess is probably more DLC.

My hope is a mega patch fixing all current issues and adding the ability for people to import other peoples characters into the game and play together over the internet or lan.

DLC is starting to bother me. I feel like companies are not releasing full games, then expecting you to pony up 20 bucks to really hav ethe complete thing.
This is so true.

Toolset is already out.
I want more party members too. Just for the giggle of more conversations.
Not on 360 it isn't, that'd be an awesome addition for the console gamers.
The game is 30 hours long. They released THREE full games without ANY DLC. I think they'ved earned the right to charge us for extra stuff now.
I spent over just under 40 hours on my first playthrough, missing out on a bunch (and I do mean a bunch) of sidequests and only Stone Prisoner DLC. I was playing on Easy too, making it even faster.

30 hours if you're rushing through maybe :p

As for party size, I'd be happy to keep it at three as long as I could take my Dog as a party member without taking up a slot. If I can't have that, I wouldn't object to pushing it up to four.

I kinda don't want an increased party, for roleplaying reasons. I'm playing a guy who would roughly translate to Neutral Good, so I really only like Alistair, Zhevran, and Leliana, and I can tolerate Sten. However, Morrigan's a *****, Shale's not human, Jack's a dog, and I haven't found the other warrior yet.

Also, Zhevran can't pick any locks and Leliana's bad at fighting except at range, which negates her other talents anyway. What the fuck, BioWare.
Which other talents? The only pre-bought melee talent that Leliana has, as I recall, is Dirty Fighting which is the melee-range stun which is good for ranged character to have so you can micro her back to distance to shoot at.

Leliana's a decent ranged member and if you download the Dex Hotfix which rebalances and fixes a few issues with daggers and bow scaling (read: buffs) then she's even better. Of course, the hotfix works both ways. The enemy bows get stronger too.

And Zevran can pick locks - it only costs him four levels of skills out of the 21 he can have. More if you donate some of those skill books you can buy for 20g~ to him.

Morrigan's not a ***** either, she's hilarious. The Intelligent Design conversation between her and Leliana was incredible.

Thank you! The whole 4 party members thing is annoying when I have to have a healer, another mage, and a tank. My guy's a two-handed warrior, so that only leaves room if I feel like changing tanks.

I am actually genuinely looking forward to DLC for Dragon Age, there is so much potential for great story telling through DLC.

I do hope it's Dragon Age: Journeys. That means I can play it more before getting the actual game when it gets discounted. :D

That may be true for some games, but I don't think you can make this argument with Dragon Age. The game can extend to over 100 hours on a single play through. That's about as complete as you can get.

I agree, party limit up to six would be awesome. I always feel like im missing out on dialogue...but maybe they are keeping the party size to 4 to keep the replay value.

I'm just glad to see that they are actually supporting it with good and plentiful DLC, and not crapping out and releasing 1 or 2 sub-par DLC, like KOTOR and Mass Effect.

Um... have you tried upgrading his lockpicking skill?
But why do that when he has all those juicy dual-wield talents to hone instead?
Play a rogue and you'll have those too. Honestly, I haven't found any diff between a rogue in heavy armor and a fighter in the same, except I can wield two full-size weapons AND steal everything and everyone freaking BLIND.

Rogue, the class of power. Make it work for you.

Viva larceny.

Bear in mind that Bioware is on Mountain Time, not Eastern (I think).

Maybe, but I wouldn't mind taking the entire army out either. Of course, Alistar and Zevran annoy the fuck out of me), so I don't mind leaving them in the barn. (anybody else realise you can just level inactive members in camp? Now THAT is pretty darn handy) I sure could use another fighter, though (Sten) and a damage mage (Aeryn-- er, I mean Morrigan)

Oh, and my dog, Magnum, who Strength and Con stats are through the roof. He's been with me to take down both dragons (Flemeth and the one from the Urn of Healin' Ashes).

Oh yeah people, and [SPOILER ALERT] it's a RING that gives +1 to all your stats.

Unless I'm wrong and it's something else they haven't added yet.

Yup, no news update yet but the Game Add-Ons section has been updated. Says it will available this holiday season.

Yep, yay for more DLC. Though, considering it's content matter, why couldn't this one already be part of the game.
