Another Mass Effect game? Oh how grand! EA definitely made Bioware better!
Are you serious or are you being sarcastic? I'm going to go with Sarcastic but I'm really not sure.

The only way to beat ME3 is scale is to go smaller. Mae its a much more personal story rather than "hurdur now its the UNIVERSE!"
i completely agree and that part i emphasized made me really chuckle.

...Why am I not surprised? It'd be hard to continue from where ME3... *SIGH* ..."left" us, though, maybe something set before the trilogy?

agreedagreedagreedagreedagreedagreedagreedagreed this is what they should have done from the start. The whole "saving the galaxy" storyline wasn't even what attracted people to the series anyway, it was the closer and personal interactions.

Omega has a fantastic atmosphere and I can't wait for a new game, although I'll still miss the old characters and I wonder how they'll adjust the canon considering the variety in what could have happened. A lot of people are gonna be told their own gaming experience was wrong. Unless it's a prequel of some kind.

I wouldn't mind another mass effect game. Everything in Mass Effect 3, except for the ending, made me love the series even more. The ending more confused than annoyed me so I am not totally opposed to another ME game.

Well, if Bioware was trying to completely alienate their main fan base, they have come up with a good way to do it. I mean come on, what serious ME fan is looking forward to this?

I'm just gonna throw this out there: A prequel about Garrus as a C-Sec officer solving crimes and being awesome. For some reason the idea of BioWare doing a noir detective story in one of their franchises really appeals to me.

Would have been good to take over Omega and have it as a base. :) I sold my ME3 so im just waiting for either a special edition or a brand new game in the ME universe.

NO - Mass Effect is OVER. I can't stand another set of games with horribly disappointing endings. Show me you're rehiring your writing staff and I'll consider it.

Not every day you're able to milk a series for what it's worth and be able to pass it off as a "tribute".

Good on ya, Bioware.

I honestly don't see how this is beating a dead horse. They made three fucking games out of an ocean of possibility. I'm glad they're not done. Anyway, it's been mentioned a few times in this thread and I agree that the series should go to a smaller scale. Like playing as a C-Sec agent or a merc or pirate. Maybe be able to choose a race, like DA:O style.

I actually think that it's a good idea to explore the Mass Effect universe more; remember, it's hugely fleshed out, and just counting the time that Humans have interacted with the rest of the galaxy gives us a 30 year timeframe to put the game in.

I'd prefer that they leave Commander Shepard be, though. His/her story is over.

Yep, agree 100%.

A truly adult Science Fiction world, and cry babies want to can it due to severe butthurt.

I, like most, was perturbed by the vanilla ending, but after EE I really like it, it's bittersweet - and a great end to Shep's story.

Love to see the universe in 30-50 years after the Reaper war, or the First Contact war.. either or.

It will have to be set in the same time frame as mass effect 2 & 3. If they make it a prequel then they have to completely redesign the shooting mechanics as clip based weapons weren't in effect till mass effect 2. I really can't see EA returning mass effect to its core roots... I'll remain optimistic but I get the feeling the lore will be butchered to suit ea's needs :(
