I'm not being an emo kid. I'm asking for random happy shit. I merely used the point of my recent rejection for a trail off into some sesquipedalian loquaciousness [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SesquipedalianLoquaciousness] which would roughly link into some kind of discussion. Maybe some sad stuff would crop up, but I was hoping for a bit more funny and/or cute stuff. Perhaps you decided to ignore the OP for a chance to call someone out for being such an emo. I refuse to speak to girls while they're in this "indie" phase. get a grip the singer of florence and the machine is not hot so dying your hair ginger and wearing dresses from the 70s wont make you hot either.
and while we're on it, only girls who ACTUALLY require glasses are hot; if you wear them without proper commendation from an optitian then your are mentally unstable. and therefore legally required to go to hell.

I was rejected a few days ago though. and although i was sad, i could see where he was coming from.

I won't bore you with the details, but suffice to say, it felt as though all the blood in my body had been frozen into tiny icicles and hammered into my abdomen ( if anyone ever tells you that you feel anything love-related with your heart, slap them, for they are a filthy liar. Yeh, it hurts. Ive been rejected twice, by the same girl, over the course of 5 years, hmm i think im overdue, I should ask again soon... But yeh, it knocks you around, one thing i've learned is to try to let your head go as blank as you can and then start to say whatever you're gonna say, that way you're less likely to get into a state of constant worry and you won't doubt yourself nearly as much.

My Rejection Story: I confided feelings in a girl, she confessed that she felt the same for me. IT WAS THE COOLEST FEELING EVER. She said she needed some time to think before we rushed into a relationship, and a week later she informed me that she didn't want to commit to a relationship, rather she wanted to date other guys, interview style, first. I found this contradictory to her so-called "feelings" for me, and I was also stricken by the fact that apparently "other guys" meant "not me."

But yeah, it sucks. Especially when the girl is a good, long-time friend of yours.

I just got rejected by a psychotherapist maybe 5 minutes ago. I finally gather the balls to get help and call a psychotherapist, and GUESS WHAT! They're full until the end of May! How FUCKING typical! Pissed as hell right now as the need is rather urgent.

As for girls, well I thought it clicked really well with a girl about a year and a half ago. She was the first to actually show interest in my hobbies, we could talk insanely well and all that. So I started developing feelings and all that, and she confessed that she was actually a lesbian. She wasn't. She just wanted to 'spare my feelings', yeah because lying to me really spares my feelings. Just shows how well you know me...

That hurt for a while, but the realisation that she was actually a ***** did soften the pain up a bit.

This always cheers me up when I'm down.

So I'm gonna take the opportunity to go all out on this one...

After facing my first rejection in 7th grade I ended up bottling up my feelings instead of risking the chance of feeling that again. Went the next 18 or so years until trying again with this girl I had become friends with from work. It took everything in me to ask her if she wanted to come over since we both weren't doing anything on Christmas Day. She did, and we started to hang out more after work but only like once a week and mostly just to smoke weed. One time we finally planned to get drunk together and shared a bottle of her favorite wine. We ended up making out and fooling around but it was like the hardest thing I'd ever done making that first move. I was so happy and fucking surprised that she didn't reject me that I couldn't even get a hard on which was the reason why I didn't try to have sex with her that night. Whether she would have stopped me I'll never know but I think she could tell I wasn't hard. I also made out with her the next day both of us sober so I thought maybe this could actually go somewhere after all!

Anyways, a month or so went by of us never once speaking of what happened when I finally decided to tell her I wanted to be more than friends. Unfortunately I didn't have the balls to tell her in person and I was so pissed at myself that I did it through facebook chat right after she got home from being over at my place. I knew it was tacky but I had to tell her right then. She told me she was glad I brought it up and that she was feeling bad ever since it happened. She told me what an amazing guy I am and blahblahblah....but that she just wants to be friends.

Now I tend to overanalyze things and the reason of this rejection was no exception. I came up with so many possibilites some being because of me, some being because of her, some being because of some freak miscommunication. I couldn't help but think that if I figure it out that I can change the situation around. It's incredibly hard to still hang out with her and talk to her just about everyday through txts and pretend I don't have feelings for her. I also want to know if she just didn't want a serious relationship and was cool with friends with benefits or what. Honestly I don't know what to do, because I don't wanna make things even more wierd stressing the issue after she had already rejected me. She's too good of a friend to risk it at this point. Yes I know I should get over it and find someone else, but there aren't too many "someone else"'s around me right now and I'm afraid I might be feeling love for the first time because I can't stop thinking about her.
