What I didnt like was the fact you couldnt play evil without feeling you were being punished somehow.

I beat the first game and the second, as well as both expansions, many times over. The first game was genius fun, while the second left much to be answered for. It would have definately been better with B&W 1 creature/miracle mechanics, the old belief system to capture towns rather than the influence system that made the game too easy, and a multiplayer mode, but as it is I got bored after one playthrough, whereas Black and White 1 is still one of my favorite games today.

Agreed! I loved the first black and white was a classic.
The second was a bit of a dissapointment.

i liked the game and tried to teach my pet to do good things, he occasionally squashed a villager by mistake, i liked the game it was alot of fun before eq came out and captured me
i didnt progress to battle w the gods, bet it was fun. great game.
