Black Ops 2 or Halo 4?

Halo is coming out on a system I don't use. Black Ops wins by default.

To be fair, it'd be canonically wrong to let Cortana stay sane and not go rampant like most AIs. I'm all for it since it could help characterization of the supposed blank Chief and Cortana herself.[/b]

Hey, I'm all for that. I just don't want to see Cortana made into an evil villain that then has to be killed by the Masterchief. That's all. Seeing Cortana actually overcome her rampancy would make for compelling character development.

I just worry they'll take the easy way out.

Considering this 343 Industries making the game I highly doubt they'd take the easy way out. They are, after all, responsible for most of the lore.

Black Ops 2 seems promising AND Halo 4 is (currently) a 360-exclusive while BO2 is multiplatform, including PC. Meaning I can PLAY BO2 when I want. (Plus, due my job, I get BO2 free anyway)
Beside, I don't play CoD for the MP but for the SP (which was good in BO1) and the Coop. And Zombies is going to be a really big one this time. MP I don't really care about, but the changes they made to it as well the fact that most things that used to be perks are now attachments is interesting.

Of course, if the rumors are true that Halo 4 might come to PC, I'll give it a try (despite the fact that we're missing the good ones, Reach and CEA, on PC and 3 never made it either, only 1 and 2.) but I doubt it. If its true, I won't leave the Firefight mode.

None of the above. the only games I'm really looking forward to are AC3, Bioshock Infinite, and the expansion to Trine 2.
