I personally don't have a problem with the perk, but its good the devs actually try to make their games better.

Now IW needs to apologize for the ones in MW2 (I'm looking at you, SitRep Pro! You were a ***** to get every time!)

Umm Yeah, Here is a little secret about game design.

it's called Patching.

You do work, change things around so there is no second chance, and then edit what the requirements are for unlocking other perks, since you and the community seem to be on the same page about that. They can leave it in for custom games, but take it out of matchmaking.

Or is it that patches are free and can't be bothered with? To busy with the game coming out in November?

Sometimes developers used to patch games. Its called normal aftermarket support. You know, back when everyone wasn't being cheap.

I concur. After-release balance patches should be the norm for online multiplayer games, not the exception. Back in the days of yore, patching wasn't possible, yet now when balance patching is easier than ever, why not take advantage of it?

Seems like an easy fix to me. Keep the invincible animation, but add an excruciatingly long pistol draw. Maybe even slow the fire rate and accuracy.

Wow, death threats over a perk in a game. If there will be one phrase that would sum up this phenomenon in the future, it would be hyperbolic threats. Hooray. And over second chance, too, which wasn't even that big of a problem.

How can a maker apologize for making a game too hard? That's retarded. "Hardcore" gamers should be delighted at the opportunity to break their thumbs for meaningless accomplishments. The Second Chance perk sounds like a bastard to fight against, but nothing worth APOLOGIZING over. That developer needs a spine.

You're talking about the company who had as community manager an immature freak that lied about other players, said quick-scoping was cheap (however, he used MP40 + juggernaut + mines, which is even cheaper), among other things.

I can only sympathize because I would apologize too. It's a good way to try to win back the hearts of players after they start to know your team as a bunch of incompetent jerks.

Yeah, Second chance was annoying to fight with. In fact, I thought is was fuckin annoying to use it yourself! It kind of breaks into the flow of the game.

Then everybody who did the BS task will not have what they fought to earn.
Its called not being a dick, and it is a bit more important than patching.(I didn't say you were being a dick, I was saying it would be a dick move to make a players progress useless.)

Can't say I ever had a problem with Second chance, Not with using it, not whilst being killed by someone else using it, I never thought it was cheap or unfair or unbalanced so either this designer is merely trying to win points with idiots who consistently complain about any tactic that ruins their K/D ratio, or -he- is the idiot.

It's not the only thing they fucked up on Blops. Second Chance wasn't THAT bad. The community's attitude towards it was rather of a shock and surprise to me, though.

I screamed with Glee once I found out that MW2 diddn't have second chance, it has been the single worst & overpowerd perk in COD games since COD4. even N00Bs are embarrassed to use it.

I liked that perk, it kept you on your toes (and putting a few extra bullets into corpses).
