i dont know if anyone is on the same boat as me and its a boat that seems to be firmly anchored
i had the same problem with the transition from COD4 to MW2. ive been playing alot of COD4 and BC2 prior to buying blackops and the learning curve was drastic its taken me to approximatly level 18 to get into a good rythm and play style that suits me. usually i prefer a sneaky silenced type class so i can move away from my team mates and go solo behind enemy lines and flank them this works very well on BC2 (with a VSS on a recon class) and i works in COD4 but the arrangement of the maps and the spawn system really hinders this playstyle in black ops.
fortunatly ive developed a new slightly more cheap style of play, i have a famas with extended mags and a suppressor (good for prolonged firefights) combine the extended mags with scavanger and you never run out of ammo. also having a tomahawk and ballistic knife for any close combat. i also use that camera spike i set it up at one entrance so i know if someone is sneaking up on me while i comfortably defend the other objective
has anyone else had this problem has thier been a learning curve in blackops and have you had to adapt your play style from different games
edit: its not so much a learning curve as it is a transition
