Blacks vs Gingers

of course MewTwo isn't alone..most FPSs that are relatively "point and shoot" tend to attract the same kinds of people.

Nothing better than being called a "camping gayass jew ******" by apparently someone who has mastered the skill of talking and moving his fingers at the same time.

Okay, we have two situations.

In situation one, A generic white person in his work place says to his Generic Ginger friend aloud 'haha, your extremely ginger'

In situation two, A generic white person in his work place says to his Generic Black friend aloud 'haha, your extremely black'

In Situation one and two, a minority is insulted over the way they look, So what makes situation two so much worse that situation one.

Enlighten me.

Situation 1. Both are Caucasian (teasing for medical condition)
Situation 2. One is Caucasian, the other Black (teasing based on race)

I don't recall Caucasions enslaving, murdering, raping or pillaging the lands of gingers, but it has happened with Africans.

Gingerness isn't a "medical" condition. It's genetic and is perfectly healthy, like being black.

Being black is caused by genes, just like being ginger so your arguement is kinda void.

family 2s children black black black black

you cant just create a race then uncreate it every few generations which happen to have the genes

Not to fall into all sorts of semantics and hair splitting, but you eugenics differs here. Eugenics deals with the idea of certain genetic traits being preferred to others with the result being a sort of selective breeding. What's being discussed here is when a host of genetic/hereditary traits become a race.

I think it's interesting that we all seemed to pick up on the trait v. race thing. I feel like ginger is generally sees more pejorative usage than black. A ginger is a slang-like name for groups whereas black is a widely-accepted turn for a name of a group.

Ok I get your point, however, just because 'gingerness' isn't a race doesnt make teasing someone for how they are different any less offensive.


In the concept teasing someone for being black and being ginger should be the same but its not seen that way by the general community. I know this because i make fun of my friend all the time for being ginger and no one cares not even him. But one time I mentioned the word "Aboriginal" in a negative manner and all these faggots started calling me a racist after laughing at the comment I made to my ginger friend.

Yes, but being albino I would say, is not as common as having coloured hair. Now, let us stop, before we veer to the realms of OffTopicia.

Well most of the worlds gingers come from Scotland (2 thirds or something)and England has historically treated them as target practice/ a way to test new weapons, whenever they were thinking of having a war.

Well neither situation is worse than the other. As specified in both the person being laughed at is a friend. What do friends do? YES! They rip on each other! Depending on where you're from and how close you are to your friends is the defining factor on how much offense they take.

The black guy could easily turn around and say "fuck you, honky S O B" or something to that effect. The ginger guy could turn around and say "fuck you, I'm beautiful" (wish I could've thought of something better but it's what a ginger friend of mine happens to say a lot of the time).

In either case, the person was just making a statement and laughing about it.
