I don't get a lot of weird customers at work.
I bet you have no stories.
There wasn't an old lady who came in to buy a magazine today. She didn't ask me out of the blue if I believe in Jesus and that there is a hell you can go to when you die. I told her that I do, and she didn't then call me a heathen and start to quote the Bible and tell me to read it. o.o

I think it would have been a bad idea to tell her that a lot of people would smack her in the face for that and she's lucky she was talking to you and also if she's not going to buy something then she can feck aff mate.

She didn't buy something, and she seemed like a pretty bad person, and not just concerned for my generation. We're also not told to avoid conflicts if we can, and I really thought it would be worth the trouble to start arguing with her. It was more uncomfortable than bizarre. I find it nice how some people seem to feel like they have the right to shove their opinions on other people though, and especially when they do it to someone who isn't in a situation where they can defend themselves properly.

I wouldn't have slammed a shotgun down on the counter - business end toward her - then growled "If yew don't like Amerikee, yew can GEEYIT OOOOOUT!"
