How come when an important but not founder of Nintendo says something, all of Nintendo apparently "said" it, but when its Bioware, its just the CEO and no all of Bioware?
Plus, some people are nice to some, then super pricks to others. Its called two-faced. I can believe Kotick to be that. And if he IS actually not so bad, then he is stupid and should not be allowed to say anything, cause its detrimental to his cause.

Telling us how great Kotick is will just make us hate him more. [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ShillingTheWesley]

Just so the guys in Activisions PR firm know it is probably a better idea to have him shut the fuck up and have everyone shut the fuck up about him so he can be forgotten.

I'd like to drive an axe into Kotick's head just to see what comes out.

I'm guessing spiders.

Delicious candy, I'm afraid, is unlikely.
Your comment made me laugh really hard, It made my night.lol.

Shall we get an interview with the Infinity Ward employees next?

I'm sorry, I mean Respawn employees.

Well this is odd, it's almost as if this man is under Kotick's thumb now... oh wait

Their constant attempts at spicing up Activisions image with by buying peoples opinions just shows we were right all along, and probably don't even know the half of it.

Kotick has no reason to treat Blizzard badly. They're a cash cow for him, and they have a rather high-profile "independence"-type deal. This is akin to the Walmart regional manager saying the retail clerks aren't mistreated.
none of Blizzard´s profits go to Activision, i just think blizzard is still together with activision to show us how awesome they are compared to activision.

it has to do with being japanese, obedience and samurai spirit.
Well, I think it is the news doing it, not Nintendo, though I could just be reading too much into it, but I dont like when they make it seem the company is unanimous, when thats not always true.

No Blizzard is owned by Kotick as a part of Activision-Blizzard. He usually leaves them to themselves because they rake in more cash than CoD.

Speaking of CoD i wonder what the repercussions on Activision will be when they screw that up...

This is the same guy who wanted people to pay out the ass every month to keep multiplayer in upcoming Modern Warfare games. Yeah. Granted, it's not probably his exclusive idea, but who's to say he's not going to bring it into a game later?

God, that face. I want to stick up for Kotick, but 'tis just so hard. His hair looks almost like a black halo and tiny eyes and a predatory smile. He must have an amazing personality to get past the initial shock accompanying the sudden drop in temperature as he enters a room. I have to remind myself I don't even know the man.

Breaking News: Guy brown-noses boss.

All things considered, Blizzard aren't exactly that different to Activision. SC2 added nothing to the RTS genre except an overpriced game (£35 for a PC game? Ha!), and Blizzard are still basically riding on one franchise (WoW). WoW now adds nothing to the MMO genre, and hasn't done since its release (And even then it wasn't exactly anything new), yet its presence obliterates most competition, whether better or not.

So how is that different from Activision, who add nothing to genres and ride on a handful of franchises?

I'm going to have to chime in with the rest of this mock-incredulity? Of course Morhaime isn't going to sass Kotick in public, but I really think it was unwise that he opened his mouth in the first place. Now he'll just seem to be an even larger bootlicker than before, which is unfortunate since I rather like Mike Morhaime.

As for my stance on Bobby Kotick? A plague on the industry, that's for sure. His track record, as well as his oh-so-memorable quotes about just how much he cares about this industry and the people in it, speaks for him loud and clear.

So the Blizzard CEO says his boss, the guy who could have him fired - Blizz being independent or not - is a nice guy? SURPRISE!

I'll just leave this here...
