Blizzard Confirms New MMOG Is New Franchise

Anyways, WoW rules the MMO plains, why make another? My guess would be that it would be different enough to draw on a fan base that woulden't play WoW.

What do you think?,as for the other one , the very fact that it rules the MMO plains is the very reason that it would see a follow up it gives them an oppurtunity to milk that fanbase some more especially given that this is a blizzard game so it won`t hit the shelves for a while

It's in their best interest financially to do something completely different. Single-shard, steampunk, sci-fi, MMOFPS, whatever. Anything to make it as different from WoW as possible.

Single-shard means that it's on one gigantic server. Like EVE Online.
