Blizzard Wants to Release Diablo III This Year

Oh please let it be this year!!! Fourth quarter would be perfect. I've just started replaying D2 to prepare.

Activision would never let them take away from the Call of Duty releases in 4thQ.

if anything..it will be spring 2012.

true enough. but i would think that more people have played the COD franchise than WoW. considering that in 2009 16 million pre orders were made for Modern warfare 2 accross all platforms.

SC2 dominated Korean and Japanese sales for it's release... i guess i could just say that North America's Releases will never be enough to topple a Call of Duty release for some time.

I'm vaguely reminded of having D2 on Pre-order for about a year and a half, so I'm going to take this with a grain of salt. Don't get me wrong, if it's out in Q4 that's awesome, but I consider it very unlikely to happen. I find it sweet that Blizz is setting goals though.

Seems like Activision pressure to me. Game's early estimates were 2013, I rather have it then if its a legit Blizzard game.

Oddly, it is the activison side that said no games in 2011( and 2 games in 2012).

Ninja please, I don't believe it would be released this year for a second. There facebook page has over 550,000 'likes' yet they still don't have one actual screenshot from the game, only concept art.

You shouldn't be looking for screenshots on facebook, you can find 18 pages of in-game screenshots on the official Diablo 3 website.
