It didn't mention it but odds are he went to the wrong best buy too. A lot of times people will preorder from a store and go to the one they didn't call.

Still though, handling a death threat from a grumpy customer is the first thing they teach you when you start working retail. I'm pretty sure he was the third or fourth guy to threaten the staff that day.

Wow. Not only so entitled that he makes death threats when he doesn't get his way, but he still thinks he deserves an apology after making said death threats. Is this what a spoiled brat looks like when it hits 30? Because that's what I think I'm looking at.

Hell, I'm not even convinced he deserved an apology BEFORE the threats. If he can't prove he preordered anything, they don't have any responsibility to give him a game. Customer service sure, but there was likely a lineup of people behind the guy who HAD their paperwork in hand and I see no reason to inconvenience them or cheat one of them out of the game because a short-tempered procrastinating distracted driver couldn't be arsed to preorder such an important game at any point in the past few months when he wasn't on the road or wouldn't be under any time pressure and could get the order number needed marked down.

Kidding or not, you can't just go around openly threatening to blow places up and not have something bad happen to you.
