I think my favorite thing about this april fools joke is that it kind of double gets you.
IGN had their famous Zelda movie trailer which was designed to look real so people would think a real movie is coming out. This year, everyone is EXPECTING something similar. So when you go and click "Ha a Halo movie!" you already KNOW it's an April fools joke.

But then... IT HAPPENS.

And I personally loved it.
