Activision SHOULDN'T concede this point, just like Sony shouldn't have pulled Little Big Planet for the "Koran" music issue or Resistance for the Church thing.

It's not their fault the Love is to high and/or stupid to read and understand a legal binding contract that an 18 year old could, nor that Bon Jovi or Nirvana alums don't like it... does their opinion count more then millions that think its interesting/funny/entertaining, spent $60+ on the game, and keep artists in business by buying their CDs, songs, and concert tickets? I'm sick and tired of artists (movies, TV, music and visual arts) belittling and lambasting those fans who PAY THEIR HARD EARN MONEY and use THEIR FREE TIME to patronize them.

Personally, I don't give 3 craps about Cobain or Nirvana. I'm just sick and tired of everyone bitching about something so unimportant and taking it out on Activision. There are plenty of other reasons to bash Activision, like CEO and asshole Bobby Kotick!

Activision should stop being idiots and respect the wishes of his family/past band members.
What imbeciles.
People should stop being idiots and treating this like its a big fucking deal. Cobain (whether you like his music or realize he was a slurry two-bit hack) is JUST an artist, NOT god.

if you DONT want little cartoon kurt singing big rock candy mountain or whatever songs guitar hero has in its setlist (although it totally SHOULD have big rock candy mountain) then dont.

Now where is the ability to make elvis and cobain have a rock battle?

the difference is, Hendrix could conceivably have played any of the songs, since a guitar is a guitar is a guitar. Hearing someone else's voice come out of your character model has to be a bit unsettling.
Yoko Ono and Paul McCartney don't seem to have a problem letting kids with no sense of how to control pitch sing through the "The Beatles."

Man people need to chill out. You'd think Cobain was Mohammad or something. Are Seattlites going to start rioting and burning buildings?

I think the irony is hilarious! Like em' or hate em' Bon Jovi is all about commercialism and they do it well, no excuses and no hiding from it. Nirvana was all about anti-commercialism and ended up being as commercialized as you could get. Now you have Courtney SELLING Kurt every chance she gets, and than has the audacity to ***** about a digital Kurt singing commercial-pop brand songs? Hypocritical, and ironic. I get it though. She wants the money and she wants to sell, she just doesn't want to APPEAR to have sold out.

I'd like Activision to pubilicly offer Courtney Love the terms of removing Kurt Cobain from Guitar Hero if she gave back all the money they gave her to put him in the game in the first place (maybe even all the money they'd need to do the patch) to see how much she really "cares about him". Then when she says no she'll look like an even bigger douche.
