i like the double jump but i always thought the scout kinda failed at everything...but thats most likely due to me sucking at team fortress 2

Yeah that's a bit worrisome...the Sandman doesn't seem all that offensive, and the soda of course appears purely defensive. So...I wonder if they're going to have something with suitable bang to replace the Scat gun...
The soda is a defencive tool to be offencive. If it works by making you invincible to all bullets for a short time while going extra fast, means you can run past sentries to cap a point, or get deep behind enemy lines to come back for hit and run attacks.

But yes the Sandman does seem pretty defencive (Which they said they were gonna address, no one uses scout at all on defences)

You can dodge flames for the most part as a scout anyways...
Also, if it imparts a speed boost, chances are even ardent ambusher Pyros will react too late to the scout zipping past.

Hrrm...let's say we're on Warpath. Mr Soda Scout leaps through capturing points 1 and the centre point while Mr. Pyro_Of_All_Evil waits patiently at point 3, having just captured it.

Burn baby burn.

Also, while bullets don't hurt; I wonder if SG rockets, Soldier Rockets or sticky bombs deflect him?

Hmm...cp_egypt eh? While I appreciate the new visual (though it reminds of de_dust somehow) I wonder why they haven't expanded on the 'Alpine' setting? I mean...as far as I can tell, all the Alpine based maps are arenas...fun for a while, but they get stale quick.

Same. I'm getting tired of pushing carts, capping points, and stealing intel on dry, industrial maps. TF2 needs more cartoony color that only an alpine setting can provide.

If you want to know they'll be introducing a new game mode too.
2 carts, one Blu and one Red. But that's all I know.
Look at the "BONK!" picture and you can see two rails and two carts.

Just so you know, the scattergun is called Force-A-Nature and it's ability is knocking people back, as well as being able to help you jump up walls. If you don't believe me look at some of the achievements, name is mentioned a couple of times.

Well me personally, I'm going to love this update! (me having the scout as my 3rd played class and almost always at top of leaderboard with him) I think the problem that's on most peoples minds is the class spammage that will ensue when this update is released. Personally, I think that unlike the pyro (which takes about as muck skill to play as breathing)and the amount of people who constantly play that because of the update, those who don't master it quickly and learn how to play it well will soon go back to their other classes. Think of it as a kind of Natural Selection :) Also Dragon king don't worry, you're not the only one looking forward to CP_Egypt, I am too :D
