Seems like an over exaggeration. Look at the damage on the Mustang, it was predominantly on the passenger side, and not all that bad. Basically it seems like a female who has made a life of getting attention for people staring at her tits, using her accident to draw more focus on her tits.

They exploded because the place where she got the operation cut corners and used sub-standard materials. when the plane started to rise in altitude air bubbles formed inside the implants until they expanded to the point of bursting.
Normal breast implants don't do this as the Saline solution and Silicon gel are devoid of air before they are put into your body thus air bubbles would not form during any sort of pressure change.

Anyhoo... The human body is pretty cool. I watched a documentary about the S.A.S in which one of the soldiers cot shot in the cheek and shin but he continued running and loaded a sort-of cannon thing that is usually a 3 man job... He did get killed quite quickly after he fired the first round from the artillery though...
