I have spend 1000+ hours on borderlands, everything they have just said has made me almost die with excitement, I want to see these new characters but hopefully Roland is back also

Gearbox, if you fix all of the problems that the original Borderlands had, I would be forced to love the company no matter how many DNF-quality games come out of the studio. I loved Borderlands, but it's a great example of a game I love conceptually more than I do in reality. Of course, I still love the game, but not as much as I did when I thought about it. Please, Gearbox, if you fix the big problems with Borderlands in Borderlands 2, I will buy the game withing a day of it's launch.

P.S.: To everyone else; did I mention that I like Borderlands? =P

File me under "Cautiously Optimistic". Borderlands was a fantastic game, but I completely loathe Gearbox's/2k's treatment of their PC customers. So while I'm happy to see a new Borderlands, I'm shaky on whether or not I want to give them more money.

No, for so many reasons, this makes me so sad.

Why? Was Borderlands that bad or something? Sure, the story was stupid and badly made, but the game itself was a lot of fun and I spent a lot of time playing it. And if you think the game is bad and you don't like it, you're clearly not going to get it so why does it make you sad anyway?
