Borderlands opinions?

Well, just because you didn't like it doesn't mean it's a bad game, and even if people agree with you doesn't mean it's a bad game, just means it's not for you. If you didn't like the loot hunting aspect of it (which is the main selling point of the game) then how would you enjoy yourself? Also, if you didn't play multi-player at all then your chances of getting good loot would be lower.

The people that like / love Borderlands far outweigh the people that don't, and you know, at least it was something different (I'm looking at you MW2).

opinion, remember? i'm encouraging people to voice their own, i'm just defending myself against attacks. and i did play multiplayer, a fair bit, and still got barely anything decent. i love loot hunting "thief character on oblivion to blame for this), but even that dragged on when i was made to check EVERYTHING

Yeah, it just sounds to me like you've run into a few douchebags while playing. I've found lots of good loot, had some good pieces given to me, and even shared some. They have an easy system for identifying and checking weapons if you can't be bothered to really analyze or try something out. Hell, you can even pick up and equip a weapon without having to look at it.

Give it another chance... try the Soldier character. I used him first and he was well-balanced.

Yay i'm offended very very much... everone knows I'm a F^.^ing blood elf....

as for Borderlands... Its a FPS, RPG... I don't care how its played and RPG has monsters that just won't die, and a FPS has the feature that you die very easily so yay they don't mix. not to mention low ammo.

I rented the game first to see what all the hype was about and loved it. After I returned it, I went to go purchase the game myself. I LOVE Borderlands, but I dare couldn't play it alone. Especially after level 2x, it becomes a bit of a grindfest if you play it on your own. But I guess that's the RPG portion of it (kidding). I actually found some of my good friends playing BLS on XBL just joining games. Sadly, the loud screaming 12 year olds outweigh the mature people that play, but they exist. A lot of the people that I met and added me were 18+ years of age. They shared their loot, even said, "Oh , there's a Class Mod here for you, if you want it." Or with guns or anything. If you aren't playing with people that are somewhat mature and not greedy, the game is great. It just sucks when you hit level 50 and found a lot of the good weapons. Then it feels like there's nothing left to do but power level people. But my biggest gripe against BLS is the level cap. Probably cause I hit level 50 so fast.... -cough- Ahem.

Sadly, everyone's entitled to their own opinion. But I like to agree to disagree with the OP and some of the things others have stated before me.
