I almost beat the suburbia level on the first part and I died on the last wave of the last round... The boss wave is kinda too extreme.

I got Borderlands on the PC, so I don't have this yet, but I'm anxious. Is it good? Or is it basically just an expanded version of the two arena missions in the main game?

EDIT: And also, I want to second the guy what the hell on not having Live. I keep hearing this and I'm not sure I understand. How do you not have Live? Is it that hard to run a network cable over to the system?

I hear this all the time, and I sometimes wonder if anyone bothered to understand the myterious device that their parents hooked up for them.

XBox Live *Gold* costs $50 a year. True.

XBox Live *Silver*, which is all you'd need for this product, and a billion other products, and game demos, and other awesome options, is free and always has been. I can totally see folks not using Gold, but Silver? Really?

Exactly, so why the hell did you get a 360 in the first place?

PS3 was way more expensive at the time.


If I could go back, and they costed the same, I'd get a PS3.

The only game I wouldn't have would be Halo 3, and I don't honestly care about that.

ugh, I want to play the DLC but first I have to hold all my friends' hands because I was playing this game while everyone was all "Zomg MW2 is t3h B3storz" so I have to help like 10 people go through the games, start to finish, and then convince them to buy the dlc I havn't played yet because I'm helping them. So my ony complaint is I cant find a reason to play the DLC without friends, which are all to low level to help me anyways. (Subconscious: jeez complain somemore...)

Dude i beat the gully and angelic ruins by myself so stop complaining its hard but not that hard.

The enemies are tougher when playing with more people.

OT: I don't really own Borderlands, but I play it at a friends house, and I haven't seen him lately, so I don't know if he's bought any DLC.

I found Zombie Island to be an boring, empty, shallow experience so won't be getting any more Borderlands DLC.

Ok, but please be level 50.... I tried playing with a friend who was level 45 and he got destroyed. But first: do you have a mic?

The new DLC is quite brilliant, I'd say.

The difficulty in it is just unbelievable, you CANNOT do it alone.

My only complaint is that the rewards for doing the first three domes are severely lacking, as enemy weapon drops and expierience are disable (so no proficiency levelling either), and you only get about 15 seconds to grab 5/6 pickups between rounds.

Lastly the vampire mod is not too bad I find if you have a character with Stat (Soldier) or Cauterize (Soldier) as they nulify the effects.

with modded weapons you can do it alone. i do find that the 20 rounds gets boring. the 5 waves of 5 rounds or whatever it is is just the right length.

Anyways...haven't even tried the last one yet but from what i understand you have to beat these same arenas AGAIN and they get even HARDER. Wow...i enjoy a challenge but...

Wait a second I think I'm confused. Are you saying it took you 3 hours to beat one 5 round challange with a full party?

Okay you can't do it alone under reasonable conditions IE no mods

The underdome was definitely underwhelming. It wouldn't be so bad if they raised the level cap, or let you gain experience while you played these areans. For 10 bucks, put your money towards the zombie DLC first, for sure.
