Both? You mean all five?
There isnt five weapon chests in the actual town of new haven..
Yes, there are. Technically 7 if you count the two outside of town though they require a little combat to acquire.

..Where are these magical chests?!?!?!!
I provided links to YouTube videos in edits. Check them and you'll see all 7.

My advice is buy the DLC because I just bought it this morning and it is great.

Actually, play online. All the time. Single player is fun and all, but online is just so much better.

Go crazy!

And never put your peep in an electrical pencil sharpener.
It will not end well for you.
His isn't real, so it's ok.

OT: I never got it :( Really, really wanted it. Then found the cap was level 50.. And I'm almost certain that the "endgame" is pretty dull?

1. Stay away from rocket launchers. They may seem awesome, and do a hell of a lot of damage, but hitting anything normal-sized from a reasonable distance away is almost impossible. You may want to keep one handy if you have extra space in your inventory, as the bosses might be easy targets.

2. Stay away from repeaters. They're really just less accurate, less damaging, and lower rate of fire SMGs.

3. Don't use incendiary sniper rifles unless they're really good. Incendiary weapons, when they hit someone, set them on fire, concealing the shot area with flame. This isn't helpful for snipers, as if you get a headshot, their head is impossible to see until the fire wears off.

4. If a corrosive or incendiary weapon does is slightly worse than the one you have now, switch it anyway. The extended damage of the fire or corrosion wil more than make up for the lack in damage.

5. Focus skill points into certain abilities, not spread out. It's better to have a few maxed out powers than many sucky ones.

6. Play online (preferably split-screen). You can have buddies revive you, coordinate attacks, and enemies drop better loot. 'Nuf Said.

Sometimes your actors explode. And even worse, sometimes they don't.

But honestly, Borderlands is a very fun game. Co-op'ing your way through the wastes of Pandora is very, very fun. Moreso if you find a kick-ass gun to do it with.

Play with friends, the game gets more hard and more fun.
Not when the friend sucks.
Whines about everything
Says he needs the guns I need when he's a berserker and im a hunter.
Says "You're not allowed to use the bird because its OP" when we're not even dueling.
Any character can become OP, berserker with all the points into berserk can become nearly unkillable. Tell your friend to stop complaining and just enjoy the bloody game. :p

i enjoy automatic scoped weapons, it allows me to shoot long range and use machine guns. i also suggest not using eridion weapons, seeing as if your taking on a big group of baddies and ur battery dies the weapon wont be of much use the rest of the fight

As a Hunter, you're not exactly durable, but all you need to do is pick your fights carefully. My tips are:

1.) Stand back. Take enemies on one at a time. More or less applies to all classes, but moreso for the Hunter. Your scope jumps like crazy when you're shot or bludgeoned. If you're in room-to-room combat, use a revolver or a low-zoom sniper rifle.
2.) Try for criticals. Kinda obvious, but whatever. If you can't (no shame in doing it), go for the bodyshot. It's helpful to get used to criticals because later on you'll need to get good at plugging skulls (Crimson Lance). If you can, only use sniper rifles with 95+ accuracy. It'll help you nail those heads.
3.) Choose a build that you like. I personally switch between Sniper/Rogue and Gunslinger/Sniper. You can respec your skills anytime you like for a small fee.

What Irish said. Keep off repeaters if you can. However, if you find a Double Thanatos [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eO2r5rf83QM] (which is like a bullet hose), hang on to it and see if you like it. I just got a Double Thanatos today and am ripping through everything right now.
As for incendiary sniper rifles, what you're looking for is called a Volcano. It'll be called " Volcano". It will be Legendary rank (Orange, Yellow, Dark Orange). The red text will say "Pele demands a sacrifice!", which means the bullet will deal massive AoE fire damage upon impact. If you get one of these, never let it go unless you find a better one.

That was the sniper rifle I was referring to. I have it, and it's utterly amazing.
