Try The Wire from the beginning. Very entertaining and some fantastic plot-lines and actors.

I've also been loving Dexter recently after being very reluctant to watch it for ages (I don't know why!).

Finally, Game of Thrones. I watched it all yesterday! Really good.

Ditto on the "Dexter" mention. The first couple of seasons are fantastic. If you want a sitcom with smart writing then try "Parks and Recreation". It made me laugh out loud on a lot of occasions.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Give the first five episodes a try; you may be surprised.

Also, the I.T. Crowd's a nice show. Lots of computer humor, and the jokes are brilliant even though it's British.

Breaking Bad (Drama. Best show on TV. Possibly the best show ever. I'm not kidding)
Terriers (Crime drama. But it's a serialized one, meaning the story plays out over the entire season)
Chuck (Spy-themed action/comedy)
Community (Comedy. It has a ton of conceptual episodes that are done very well. It definitely raises the bar for prime-time comedy)

Community for humors funniest show I've seen in a while.

American Horror Story is a really unique drama. Very much for grownups though, not for the squeamish.

Archer is also very funny animated show.

If you have any Sinclair Networks in your area, try Ring of Honor TV.

Community is great fun

The Wire makes a good weekend marathon.

Try importing Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror

Kudos for watching Castle its awesome.

NCIS LA - I prefer that to NCIS.

Republic of Doyle - Its Canadian shows on CBC but you can find it online.

White collar - funny cop/conman series.

Covert Affairs - New girl at the CIA. Good stuff.

Happy Viewing!

Hmm:

Strange - if you can find that
Mongrels
Being Human - Can't vouch for the remake but the original is awesome.
Life On Mars - Again can't speak for the US remake but the original is great
Ashes To Ashes - If you like Life On Mars.

Hmm if you "liked" Warehouse 13 then try Eureka or Alphas which are in the same universe.

3rd Rock From The Sun.

Ugh don't know what else to suggest. I suspect you've only listed recent stuff but you have seen a lot of older things that are good.

The IT Crowd and Black Books. It's British comedy at it's best. At the very least you should watch Black Books because it's absolutely amazing.
