Fable 2:Lord Lucien.

The only boss that has ever made me feel like my time playing the game was Wasted.
That wasn't even a bossfight - Couldn't they have had some kind of climactic swordfight in the middle of an arena or somesuch.

Al Mulim from Assassin's Creed 1. All I did was counter with the hidden blade and I killed him with one attack.

Lucien is a given, but I'm not gonna waste an opportunity to bash Fable II (that worthless disk of spinning bile).

Galactus in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

Zant in Twilight Princess (I liked him better when he was stoic)

Bowser in Super Mario Galaxy. Sure, it's a pretty easy game, but it's the final fricking battle. You could have at least done SOMETHING different, Nintendo!

It was barely a fight.
And from what people have told me, if you wait to long Reaver Steals your Kill!

WTF!?
I expected him to become drunk with ultimate power and go Berserk or mutate into a Unholy monster or something...not give me a speech.

The lack of bosses in Bioshock 2 was a disappointment :(
Yea, it could have had a lot more bosses.
And at the end fighting two Big Sisters was tough but...not really the final fight i was expecting or wanted...

Trance Kuja FF9. Kuja was a badass yet he was so weak at the end. He SHOULD have been much stronger imo, even possibly the final boss, but necron popped his head in and made me read a book to find out wtf he had to do with the game and why he was the final boss I had to fight.
Please tell me the name of that book, because I still don't get it.

Honestly, this is probably my first and most memorable WTF boss moment. I never cared for the final few hours of FF9 for this very reason... it's as if you got to the Northern Crater in FF7 and all of a sudden Sephiroth turned out to have 2 or 3 bosses stronger than him. Never made any sense to me.
Sephiroth actually isn't the strongest boss in FF7. Go look for Emerald Weapon.
I'm aware of that, I meant story-related, need-to-beat-him-to-beat-the-game kind of bosses. I was just trying to make the comparison that if you're going to stick with a "main villain" for 2.5 disks of gameplay, you probably shouldn't insert a different one with no explanation at all at the very end.

Final Boss in Daxter.

Yes, I wasn't expecting much from this game, as it is the bastard child of Naughty Dog's "Jak and Daxter" series and Ready at Dawn and nothing can outdo the first 3 in that series, but... wtf? Took me like 5 minutes to kill the boss. I was left thinking there was more to the game. But there wasn't. Cheated of all that hard work. I really want to 100% the game, like I have for all the other Jak games, just to say I did, but I have no interest! I expected the game to fail... but not -that- hard.

Super Ix in Sonic Chronicles, after being the main and ultimate villain throughout the game, I defeated him in one one short Super Sonic powered quick-time event.

Edit: Though saying that implies there was a point in playing the game that I found fun.

Originally, they only had one Big Sister that you would fight at the very end. Why, oh why didn't they stick with that?
I remember so fondly the "chasing the big sister" preview video and a chill going down my spine when I knew that getting my hands on this game meant fighting her.

So disappointed by how it ended up. Better Gameplay and all, but story and combat variety really let the side down in the second installment imo. :(

And by that point you're spliced up to the max (I was rocking the drill monkey, or whatever its called) setup and the whole fight was just easy :(

I'm gonna have to say, a lot of the bosses in No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. They just didn't seem to have as much of a story to them as the bosses in No more Heroes did. It was rather saddening. And then

The boss fight where you got to play as Henry was an extreme disappointment, and extremely confusing. Henry and this little girl are talking like friends, and all the sudden Henry's trying to kick her ass? Needless to say I was beyond confused, and to this day have not figured out wtf happened.

Killer Croc in Batman: Arkham Asylum
P.s. new to these forums :)
Welcome!

I would have to say, every single Final Boss in a Final Fantasy game. They're built up so much story wise (Most of the time) and then you beat them with little to no effort, even at low levels.

I cant remember my set up but i had the Tonic that sent out a random Elemental attack when i took a hit and the one that lets you Recover Heath in water.
Not to mention Armor Shell, and a lot of the Health/Eve boosters.
And when i started to run out of Health i just went shopping at the Circus of Value that was conveniently placed in the area you fight the Big Sisters.
:p

All I know is that I enjoyed it while I was playing it, but after I beat it I just realized that it could have been so much better. Sure it extended the story and made the BioShock universe a bit bigger, but they missed out of so many great opportunities that could have made it even better.

BK:N&B.

I'll just say this: by the end of the game you have enough weapons and ammo to crate world war 3.

The absolute final boss in Kingdom Hearts let me down. Sure, the bosses that led up to it were insanely difficult and satisfying, but the final fight was so underwhelming.

It was because you essentially fought the guy twice already. And the third time, you have Donald and Goofy with you, so it's even easier than the last few times.

Killer Croc in Batman: Arkham Asylum, King Allant in Demon's Souls, the Jim Kong Il-wannabe in Just Cause 2 and the final boss on Borderlands were EXTREME letdowns.

Edit: Oh, I forgot, both of the Archfiends forms at the end of Ninja Gaiden 2. The god damned ninja dogs were harder than his ass.
