That wasn't even a bossfight - Couldn't they have had some kind of climactic swordfight in the middle of an arena or somesuch.Gigaguy64 said:Fable 2:Lord Lucien.
The only boss that has ever made me feel like my time playing the game was Wasted.

Yea, it could have had a lot more bosses.YouBecame said:The lack of bosses in Bioshock 2 was a disappointment![]()
I'm aware of that, I meant story-related, need-to-beat-him-to-beat-the-game kind of bosses. I was just trying to make the comparison that if you're going to stick with a "main villain" for 2.5 disks of gameplay, you probably shouldn't insert a different one with no explanation at all at the very end.JonnoStrife said:Sephiroth actually isn't the strongest boss in FF7. Go look for Emerald Weapon.Thunderhorse31 said:Please tell me the name of that book, because I still don't get it.Dagnius said:Trance Kuja FF9. Kuja was a badass yet he was so weak at the end. He SHOULD have been much stronger imo, even possibly the final boss, but necron popped his head in and made me read a book to find out wtf he had to do with the game and why he was the final boss I had to fight.
Honestly, this is probably my first and most memorable WTF boss moment. I never cared for the final few hours of FF9 for this very reason... it's as if you got to the Northern Crater in FF7 and all of a sudden Sephiroth turned out to have 2 or 3 bosses stronger than him. Never made any sense to me.
I remember so fondly the "chasing the big sister" preview video and a chill going down my spine when I knew that getting my hands on this game meant fighting her.ProfessorLayton said:Originally, they only had one Big Sister that you would fight at the very end. Why, oh why didn't they stick with that?
And by that point you're spliced up to the max (I was rocking the drill monkey, or whatever its called) setup and the whole fight was just easyGigaguy64 said:Yea, it could have had a lot more bosses.
And at the end fighting two Big Sisters was tough but...not really the final fight i was expecting or wanted...

So disappointed by how it ended up. Better Gameplay and all, but story and combat variety really let the side down in the second installment imo.

All I know is that I enjoyed it while I was playing it, but after I beat it I just realized that it could have been so much better. Sure it extended the story and made the BioShock universe a bit bigger, but they missed out of so many great opportunities that could have made it even better.YouBecame said:I remember so fondly the "chasing the big sister" preview video and a chill going down my spine when I knew that getting my hands on this game meant fighting her.ProfessorLayton said:Originally, they only had one Big Sister that you would fight at the very end.
