Really? After finding out that you can summon Tinkerbell before the whole "can't cast spells/summons" stick begins, everything else was basically either constant attacking the orbs/head (given the situation), spamming Thunderga when he starts floating around in that sphere, and doing "timed" dodge rolls when he starts top-spinning towards you...

Everything else (like equipping Second Chance, MP Rage/Haste, etc.) is basically "standard" for most boss battles, anyway...
Ah, see clearly I've been going about this the wrong way. I've never thought to summon Tink before before his spell cancellation. Chances are, I've probably already done this but didn't realize it. I just get frustrated so easily whenever I fight him. I've been planning on giving it another playthrough before KH 2.5 ReMix so I'll give it another go.

Thanks for the tips.

I'm probably going to have to go with Kalameet from Dark Souls. Of course, the difficulty was mostly from trying to solo him with an underleveled character while also trying to get the dragon weapon from his tail. I think he's the only dark souls boss I've had to call backup for, which counts as not really beating to me.

And now that I've been thinking, that underwater dude in FF7 who's stomping around in the bottom of the ocean. For one, he's hella stronk, and if I remember correctly you die if you don't kill him before a timer runs out. Not that I ever lasted long enough for that to happen.

The very final boss (chapter 13 verse 4) in Drakengard for the PS2 the one with the timing based black/white rings is one of the only bosses I have not beaten to this day. I've never been good at rythm/timing and even with a list of the entire sequence I could never ever do this one. Which saddens me it's one of the few games I have sitting at 99% that I just can't win. I beat the second one no problem but that first one is just ridiculous. Seeing as how i've defeated every hidden Final Fantasy boss up to FF12 it's frustrating. >.<

Link to a video of the boss in question is in the spoiler section. Proceed

You must mean Emerald Weapon. He isn't too bad just don't use Knights Of The Round, he will retaliate with his strongest attack every time, and there's a materia that you can get by getting a GuideBook (you have to use morph to kill a Ghost Ship in the underwater reactor) and take the GuideBook to the Traveler in Kalm. It's only purpose is to remove that pesky timer and it helps if you're not 100% sure how to do the fight in time or your characters are a little on the weak side. Even with my characters at 75+ with all ultimate weapons, master materia, and Limit Breaks, I still throw it on just to be safe.

No probs, dood!

Besides, I think you can set up the summoning of Tink (without actually going through with it) before you talk to carpet, so that could help if you feel like the open window to summon "normally" feels a bit too small to pull off quickly...

Dante in Devil May Cry 4 on Hell and Hell difficulty, jesus christ, beating him on Son of Sparda was hard enough but with this one attack death nonsense, I might as well just kill myself... I don't even want to think what the saviour would be like... With dante blocking pretty much any attack you throw bar 2 or 3 combos, it's virtually impossible to hit him and when he hits you, you die. In short, screw that boss, I'll never beat you and you will always beat me.
I just recently read about an exploit. If you fire at him with your gun, he'll be vulnerable to melee attacks while he's busy deflecting your bullets. I'm kind of looking forward to trying it out myself.

Most of the optional crystal skull bosses in ninja gaiden 3.
Most bosses in the NG series are bullshit hard anyway, but those monstrosities take the cake for fights that I just gave up on and never looked back.
