There's a totally lame level in Urban Chaos: Riot Response where you have to protect two civilians on opposite sides of a train. While the level is totally cool to look at and unique in concept, the enemies can appear pretty much out of nowhere next to a civilian, and then YOU have to trek ALL THE WAY back to the train car where they're at, by which time the OTHER civilian is being shot. Seriously, you need two people to finish this stupid mission.
Oh, THAT mission! I remember that one!

Essentially, the best way to do it is to stand next to one, kill everyone you see (not the civilian), run to the next one, kill everyone you see (not the civilian), rinse and repeat.

The Hero of Will in Fable 2..

Why the fuck can't I just storm in there with my pistol attached to my crotch humping bullets at people while stabbing them in the face? Why did I have to spend TEN IN-GAME YEARS to free this guy? Why did I spend all of the gameplay moments there being shocked and losing experience? Yeah.. Real heroic.

I got a few...

CoD:WaW, Heart of the Reich, Veteran.
Exactly how the fuck do I destroy the first two flak guns and expect to live?

OoT, Water Temple, enough said.

LoZ:WW, the first fucking dungeon. I had to go through a headache to get that sword (a mild headache, but a headache nonetheless) and the game takes it away from me. How the hell does that make any sense?

Oh and my favorite, Tabuu, from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. One'hit KO my ass! But I did mange to beat him on Intense eventually.

The mines in HL2: E2. The small camp was the only good part of those mines.

The heritic levels in Halo 2.

The fish market area of BioShock. So boring.

Every single optional planet in Mass Effect.

All Alliance areas in World of Warcraft, for small laughs.

Any Mario level with the guy who throws Khopas at you from clouds.

All I can think of for now.

All well and good, but the enemies still show up next to the civilians a bit too quickly. In my opinion, it's absolutely impossible to finish this mission without your allies getting hurt. Also, most of the enemies have dual uzis or chainsaws. Also, no checkpoints. Mess up once and you get to do it all over again.

But yeah, I'll try that.
