Can't bring myself to watch it because I like my humor random and crazy.
Then you should really like Pinkie Pie.
Seriously, if you like crazy and random humor, Episode 25 of Season 1 and Episode 3 of Season 2 (even though it's about Twilight Sparkle) are just complete WTF-ness.

Anyway, regarding the topic: Well...it's Cracked! And the article really seemed quite favorable towards us. I've seen other Bronies react really pissed off, but I don't quite get why...I mean, you kind of have to expect that someone ridicules when you're a Brony, because, well...it IS ridiculous. On the surface.

You guys are getting off over a story about FRIENDSHIP. I'm not sure how hard I have to hit these nails for you to understand.
Okay...so enjoying stories about friendship is bad. We should only enjoy shows and movies and books and games where hate is the way and evil always triumphs...because friendship is something for children and we as grown-ups should treat the people in our social circle like dirt...thanks for the heads up! Remind me to never actually develop any kind of Real Life relationship to you!

to be fair, a great amount of us are tired of seeing such stupid cartoons (that were created for little girls) on this site over and over again when it has nothing to do with video games. MianusIzBleeding wouldn't have posted a reply if there wasn't another thread about pony's even though you guys have your own group where you can post such things.
You are aware that this is OFF TOPIC right? If you are only interested in gaming threads then stay in that sub-forum.

And again you can just not click on threads that are about FiM. Seriously it is not hard. There is every right for us to have threads in proper sub-forum every now and then.
I didn't care at first but when in the past when they appeared again and again I got sick of it. What finally made me lose any reaming tolerance was when I was told again and again how I would like the show if I just watched it (even though I watched an episode and still didn't like it).

Well for one thing, its haters like you that keep bringing it up or some new person asking the same question which a search bar is there for. So don't blame the fans for it.

I just don't people on the escapist. One minute they are saying "We shouldn't judge people for ____ reason" since they like it or has friends who do it. Yet when something comes up they don't like BOOM. They get all pissy over it.

Hell I haven't seen a MLP thread at all from a actually fan. Like I said, most of the time its either a hater of the show or some new person who wants to know more about it yet haters like you always has to cause problems.

You realize it is literally impossible for anyone on the internet to force you to do anything, right? See, that's is the way the internet works; everyone else is far away sitting at their own computers. We can't even see you.

Yeh. The only pony thread made by an actual fan I have seen in the past year was that one last week titled "imagine opening night at the MLP movie". Most fans either cant be bothered with the hate it will bring or just discuss it on the user group. Now it is all the pony haters and people who cant use the search function who are making pony threads, not us! I wish people on the internet could finally find out that if you dont like something, you can easily leave it alone.

You can dislike it just fine. That is ok.

But you can't start saying what sort of threads are allowed in these boards, not your job. Again if some of them bother you just don't go to them. There is nothing more to it. You are also really getting this whole thread to off topic.

um....I don't bring up the show, that would defeat the purpose of me not wanting to see anything about the show to begin with.

I'm actually pretty relieved to read this entry, because it's evidence that bronies are far from gone and I was beginning to worry I jumped on the bandwagon way too late. But what do you think of it? Was it too hard on bronies, or was it just hilarious?
I knew it, it's not the show itself you all like. It's being part of a huge bandwagon that travels around the internet going toot toot!

Who cares how many people like it, if you like it then the number of other people who do too shouldn't be a factor.
Yes sure. And you base that on what?

What single person says. I honestly like the show, I think many others do too. There are always people who jump on bandwagon sure, it doesn't mean that those are necessarily majority.

Well I'm sorry, but you just have to *puts on sun glasses* Deal with it.

People like it, if you don't that fine but going to a thread about it and complaining about it is pretty stupid. Hell just ignore it completely like I do with all the religious/politics threads. Its pretty easy.

I mean hell I don't like Sony at all (No offense to the fans.) Though I don't go to a Sony thread and flip shit about my hatred and say "I don't think their should be a PS3" So what makes MLP any different from anything else?

Yeah sure, you got annoyed by people bugging you about it. But are we not suppose to be..Idk..Adults about the whole thing?

Signed.

Also, I think OP just had a bad wording. because the fandom is a major factor for a lot of us and I think he just meant that he was worried he wouldn't find any more Bronies to talk to. Because Bronies are awesome. I have made new friends to MLP and the first Real Life meeting I ever had with anyone I met online was with members of Brony Message Board.

This, so much. My example would be that I thought Bioshock was worth exactly the $5 I paid for it but you don't see me ranting about it every time someone goes misty-eyed over that game.

Thank DEITY we have guidance. Just thank deity.

OT: Cracked is weird, bronies will always be OVERunderstood as some complex physcological thing. You THINK you like the show, it isnt manly, its an objection of maile steriotypes, its an ironic thing, its not interesting, you cant like it for X reason ect ect ect... its people. Who like a show. Because it interests them. That is all there is to it. Nothing more. Nothing less. No deep thing. No shallow ignorance of what they should like. Its just some people who like a thing a lot. Good for them? I just dont give them any more attention than another fanbase.

OMG why isn't that being used as a forum weapon! I'd love to use that whenever someone says someone else shouldn't be liking something.

Why can't we be content to just laugh at them until they go away? They'll eventually realize what they've been doing and stop out of embarrassment. Then discover sex or something.
No need to encourage this fad by fostering debate. Basically, trolls are not to be fed.
Oh hello! Just because you dont like something doesn't mean the people who do are trolls. But I still love you, bronies love everyone ya see :)
