Awesome but not unprecedented:

It is pretty awesome that Fallon wants to use his show to promote video games and treat them like the valid art form they are. Its not awesome that his show sucks. He needs to do more movies about the Redsox.
No, no he doesn't. Fever Pitch just happened to be timed absolutely perfectly. another movie just wouldn't be the same.

Schaffer is so cool. Also, am I the only one who didn't know that Fallon had his own talk show?

neat interview and at least Jimmy Fallon has a place where he can laugh at his own jokes instead of live on air during SNL

can't wait till Rocktober 13th

I'll be telling you're grammar doesn't sound correct, it might just be me though, mine grammar isn't that good.

on topic, Excellent for marketing though, hopefully Brutal Legend sells well unlike its older sibling.

I think that i'm the only one who likes Jimmy Fallon, and now he's becoming an advocate for the greatness of gaming.

Is it just me, or is YouTube being especially shit? It's taken me 30 minutes to download up to 3:00. In what I've seen, however, Tim is made of win.

Is it just me or was the interview just plain lame?
...kinda cool game, the demo didn't do it for me though (though the visuals looks awesome)

Wouldn't Jimmy Fallon's endorsement (on some level) of Brutal Legend actually hurt the game's sales? I think it would.

Though I must admit it's nice that at least some primetime host is giving the game some attention. I just wish it wasn't this comedically-challenged individual who was giving it.

Haha Tim is a Great Game designer who makes great games all for the purpose of having fun while your doing it. which should what games should be like where people make them to have fun sadly now evil companies are taking the fun out of games and turning them into money making devices.

Sigh..... Life goes on

Well, to be honest I think game releases CAN be the equivilent of movie openings and such. Looking back at some of the pre-release events I've attended, I can see it, and as there are more and more gamers every day I think we're going to see more and more effort being put into promotion, including doing what needs to be done to get game developers, mocap actors, and others onto talk shows.

Well, that would certainly give a new meaning to "Angels & Demons".

OT: I'm unsure if it's good or bad if games get treated like movies.

Jimmy Fallon has his own talk show? lolwut
Yes. It was a part of the NBC talk show cycle shift earlier this year.
[small]Let's see if I can get it right...[/small]
Jimmy replaced Conan's time slot, who replaced Jay Leno's late night show. However, Jay has been slated to start a prime time show later this year (if it isn't already on).

I've never cared for Jimmy Fallon, he messed up every skit he was in for his last year of SNL, and hes just not that funny.
only his last year? he'd often laugh at his jokes during his skits throughout his stint on SNL

at least when Dennis Miller did that, it was when the joke bombed and he made a crack about it, tho he only did the news

I don't get why people laugh when other's describe games.

In a world where were a film series about a robot with an Austrian accent sent back in time to kill the mother of an unborn resistance leader is a considered a masterpiece and a classic, where the hell does anyone get off laughing about a game storyline?

Wow, Tim and EA really are pushing this one. For once I don't think Schaffer's awesome game may be successful.

By the way, I just got round to playing the demo. My face is currently a pool of flesh coloured liquid, but it was worth it.

This is what will keep Fallen on the air, he has no talent, so he gets his audience to listen to game devloppers, an audience which will become gamers for that reason.
