Sure, most new RAM, which anyone buying parts today is likely to get. On the offchance they aren't they can just set it to 1.6v to virtually no performance loss.
Once again why should he downgrade the system so it will run safe instead of buying the right ram at the same price from the start?

Downgrade his system by setting his RAM at 1.6v instead of 1.65v? Are you kidding me? You make it sound as if the timings is all that matter.

I'm not saying that 1.65v is better than 1.5v, or even that 1.5v isn't the right RAM; all I'm saying is that 1.65v will work.

This will be my last reply since you apparently cannot admit you made a mistake with taking the wrong rams for the system. And yes I do think you downgrade your system when you buy something and then have to lower stuff on it.

You apparently can't accept that 1.65v is fine and will work; it's not the wrong RAM. Also, yes, you will have to 'downgrade' your PC without losing any performance. How terrible.

What I'm trying to say is he can buy whatever RAM he wants, 1.5v and 1.65v will both work.

Also 1.65v is safe, ASUS, Gigabyte, Corsair, and MSI all say so.
