It's Epic, what do you expect? They stabbed PC in the back, just like Infinity Ward (and I won't be surprised if Crytek is next).VincentX3 said:First and last line I readNo word about a PC release was given.

Heavens no. You and I are on the same page, friend. I was remarking on the guy you were remarking on. His quote just happened to be in yours, so I added my two cents, though it was hardly as well put as your own.Fr said:anc[is]Was that aimed at me? Because I'm totally on your side. Only 1 DLC has ever been worth every penny. Oh LotSB, why can't all DLC be as epic as you... :3Icehearted said:Also, last I checked, forums like these were meant for people to express their opinions/thoughts/whatever. Some of us really don't like having our wallets pecked at by every dev and publisher for a few map packs or some omitted feature.
I would rather they waited it out and got some feedback before announcing it and essentially admitting "We know the game needs more maps, so here are some new ones." If they had waited, it would be seen more as a reaction to complaints rather than an acknowledged problem they figured they'd fix later.-Samurai- said:I never thought I'd see soo much complaining over something you don't even have to get.
So they worked on some new stuff while the game was being put on to disks, packaged, and shipped. Would you rather they just finish the thing and say "On to the next one!"?
If you didn't buy your own copy, you didn't support the developers. You didn't deserve the free DLC.Dango said:Not if you bought a used copy *sniffle sniffle*...cainx10a said:All the BF:BC2 DLCs were free (Except for Vietnam, which more of an expansion), and goddamn these maps were actually beautifully crafted.
Yep. Glad I didn't preorder now..VincentX3 said:First and last line I readNo word about a PC release was given.

I concur, just hoping it doesn't include any extra trophies or achievements, depriving me of yet another 100% unless i purchase a DLC pack >:/Corpse XxX said:My god this is retarded..
Having DLC's ready before the game is even launched.. This only tells me one thing..
That they are some greedy flocking bastards! If its ready now, include it in the damn game before launch!
This makes me want to kill them with skill!
Thank you. It's amazing how many people forget the gap in time between going gold and releasing the game. This isn't content they cut from the disk, this is content they started making after the game was done.dogstile said:Christ, what did you think they were doing all that time? They finish the game, they do something else. They don't get paid to do nothing.
Obvious answer: Games for Windows Marketplace.although distribution details were not revealed.
Because you have a god-given right to DLC?Dawkter said:This is why I pirate DLC.
When they're announcing it the week of launch, that means they've already been working on it for a little while. I don't think people get pissed because anyone is forcing them to buy new content.Andy Chalk said:Yeah, how dare Epic and EA create more content for a game and then barge into your houses and force you to pay extra for it at gunpoint?
In other news, Epic has confirmed that the DLC will be coming to PC as well.
HOW DARE THEY?!?
[/kneejerk]
Amen. The way people complain you would think the disks drop out of the programmers' asses fully packaged with a bow on top. News flash : It takes time to package and distribute the game. Day one DLC is stuff for the programmers to work on while the physical parts of the game are being made. Would you rather they go work on another game and have no DLC at all? I certainly remember when such was the case.-Samurai- said:I never thought I'd see soo much complaining over something you don't even have to get.

I bet you my bottom dollar that it is of EA's doing.Icehearted said:Epic, what happen to you, guy? You used to be cool to us, used to treat us like bros. Remember the old days? Remember when map packs for Unreal Tournament 2k4 would come out and we'd be like "aww snap! Epic being epic"?
What the hell, dude? Why you punkin' your people with this nickel and dime for crap tack-ons? I know it's the thing to do these days, but you were better than this, man. I mean, c'mon.
