it's a UE3 fps why would it need massive specs
I don't know, but it does. Quad core and a GTX260? Why not demand a xeon 3ghz and sli'd 580s to run Pac-Man Championship edition?
sorry but that really is sub standard tech, even a vastly more powerful 460 can be picked up for £120

hard to find but a gtx 260
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330517667245&item=330517667245

about £40

http://www.supaprice.co.uk/p/result.jsp?q=gtx+260

similar 40 to 50 range

As for quad core they are 5 years old now, by june the GTX 260 will be 3 years old

http://www.ebuyer.com/product/242140
£80 for a 3.0ghz quad core

Their is more to a computer than GPU and CPU but £120 is not excatly crazy

http://store.nike.com/gb/en_gb/?l=shop,pdp,ctr-inline/cid-300/pid-369585#l=shop,pdp,ctr-inline/cid-300/pid-369585

LOL, recomended quad core, and since when can the Unreal Engine use all those?
One would think the people that put up the technical specs know something about it.

I just had to register to tell you how incredibly stupid you are. Normally I play nice but really £120 for trainers?! Only divvy chavs buy them, jesus mine are a twelve quid from asda.

As for your 260GTX prices. That auction hasn't finished. Plus this is ebay home of everyone's overclocked burnt out junk. Plus if they are selling thousands of units not everyone can get hold of these bargains.

Also your suprprice link is next to useless, the only item close to proving your point is a heatsink for a 260. If you made a better search you'd find the price much higher.

Lastly his original point was that the game shouldn't need such high specs as it uses a very very old tired game engine. Not the prices.

well done because nobody buys nike trainers, I mean who has even heard of such an obscure company.

GTX 260 is an auction because it's soo old that i can't find anyone selling them first hand.

the supraprice link has atleast 8 gtx 260's you really need glasses if you can't find them.

he has no point because these are very low specs, the minimum requirements are super low and recommended is a 5 year old processor with a 3 year old graphics card.

the old tired game engine wanting a 2006 processor seems entirly logical and appropriate.

Whats next are people going to complain about moderen printers requiring USB and not supporting DB-25 parallel interface

2 and a half year old graphics card. I always liked to defend PC gaming for not requiring you to upgrade your system to a cutting edge one every 2 and a half years but articles like this don't make it easy. If requiring a new card every 2 and a half years is "surprisingly relaxed" then the norm is to require a new card every year and a half.

Fortunately that isn't the case but it doesn't help when news sites print this kind of misinformation nor when a company can't make a 360 port run well on a system 5 times as powerful.

Any word on the DRM for this yet? I am hoping none. I would rather Pre-Order this for the PC (as I kinda promised Mike Capps I would) then for the console as I think it will look much better on the PC and I have the rig to run it.
Sorry dude. It uses GFWL.

They also confirmed this in their forums somewhere.

Not that high spec?

Jesus does anyone else here not think that having a quad core and a 512 card is still not exactly easy to come by these days?

I'll be consoling it me thinks.
