I'm just going to say this:

The original video was pretty cool. But I have officially stopped giving a shit about this. Why does everyone seem to care so much about this ONE incident?

At this point, I don't care who started it, who the victim is, or anything like that. Maybe I'm just trolling, but is this REALLY so interesting that we need updates about it?

I don't believe him.

However, he already got what he deserved; getting thrown down to the ground like that. He doesn't need the constant hate that is flooding his life from everywhere over the world.

That being said (which shows how torn I am on this subject), taking a video of your harassing a schoolmate and then the subsequent ass-beating you receive because you're too stupid to understand that someone three times the size of you definitely can lift you without a problem (not to mention that the kid was four years older than him), and posting it to youtube really allows me no remorse as you really brought it on yourself.

The internet is not for the faint of heart and you will get attacked by people on it no matter what you do or say. Posting anything here and not understanding the consequences makes you terribly deserving of any flak that comes your way.

After watching the video with the Street Fighter music in the background I really can't take any of this seriously anymore XP
There's a TF2 one kicking about somewhere, it's pure gold.

Yeah, big deal. I don't give two shits about his story. "He told me to get to class and called me an idiot." OH MY GOD! That's horrifying, and surely deserved to have a video of him getting punched and taunted repeatedly made of him.

Eh...I´m not buying this kid´s story. His lack of remorse is obvious and the fact that he told a girl on facebook that she should be raped tells me a lot about his character.
When was this?

Huh? He did? Where did you get that little gold nugget from?
It was in post number 5 from this thread:http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.272253-Richard-Gale-zangrief-kids-bully-speaks-out-on-TodayTonight?page=1#comment_form. He even linked a screenshot of the conversation.

edit: of course, we cant be sure if the pic is real or not. It might be photoshopped or a fake account. We shouldnt jump to conclusions.

Pfft, kid got his ass beat for being a tosser and now that his shame is all over the internet he wants to cry foul.

Have fun trying to live your ass beating down kid, it's on the internet so your fate's fairly sealed at this point.

I saw a picture of him on facebook saying that he hopes a girl gets beaten and raped because she suggested showing the video to the head of their school to prove Casey did what he did in self defence and as other people have said that responding to "get to class" with a punch to the face and claiming that the comment which he retaliated to is just stupid.

Oh and I don't have the photo if anyone is wondering but perhaps someone could post it here.

EDIT: ninja'd about the facebook thing.

It's tough to tell what to believe here. There's a lot of gray area when it comes to kids and the stories they tell. The only truth is that no one may really know what happened in that hallway or what led up to that incident, except for Gale and Haynes.
do we know where the original video came from? it appears to me to be a video camera of some sort, not cc tv.

If someone is bullying you and you 'fight back', why would you:

1) start a fight with them (if they were minding their own business)
2) film it happening
3) act like you are some tough guy during said film

He's just playing in to the fact that he was bullying someone bigger than him because it is easy to take the side of the small guy. The fact he made the idiotic mistake of filming his own crappy fighting skills then tried to worm his way out of it when people put the pressure on him makes him all the more pathetic. And surely it is against the law for a piercer to give a kid his age an eyebrow piercing? It's almost like he got a piercing to show how much of a 'big man' he is to all his little buddies...

Richard Gale's lying through his teeth. It seems pretty clear who's the victim and who's the bully from watching the video that went viral.
That's pretty impressive since his teeth are fucking huge

OT: I don't buy his story. It's the little guys who are the worst bullies, because they need to try and puff themselves up. It's the kids who are bigger and don't want to puff themselves that are the victims, the little guys making them targets because they're jealous of their size.

I also doubt that if I was the victim, I would videotape myself starting a fight, since if they were a bully, they'd get sympathy as only reacting to the instigator. Also, notice how Casey had no one coming over to him, while this little rat had people who tried to start stuff afterward, until they say the stare of the Gods

Isn't the "He did it first" argument typically the first thing kids make when they get in trouble? Regardless of publicity, this is a schoolyard squabble. The parents and school should be the only ones involved here, not the fucking press.

Because people sympathize with the big kid. Most people have been bullied to some extent when they were kids, and they did nothing about it. So to see this kid stand up against his aggressor, when most of us would not, makes him a hero.

I personally think the big kid is pretty cool, and hope good things come to him in the future.

Updates about it? How the hell did it get on TV in the first place FFS! It was a cool vid nothing more lol. This has happened forever now. Kids fight. No big deal. It doesn't matter who did what when. It just doesn't. He got cocky, he got owned, end of story. This is just plain ridiculous.

Large group of kids walk up at school one day, casually passing their slightly overweight classmate, the one who has a very low self esteem and has been picked on his whole life. Out of nowhere the fat classmate yells out "Get to class you idiot!" at the crowd of kids, specifically toward their ringleader, Ritchard, who had had enough at this point. He called for his friend to pull out the camera to show the world this act of self defense against the harsh bully who had just called him an idiot. However he didn't expect that a bully of this caliber could do so much damage, he walked away defeated hoping that his story for how he tried to stand up to a bully would reach listening ears and they would all take up arms against bullying around the world!

BS kid.
