Yep.
Its a shame that there's so much hate for halo now, and its starting to smear on Bungie, and most people forget how much they actually did before halo, and how great devs they are, right up their with valve.

I hate "am I the only one?" questions too, but here goes:
Am I the only one who thought the Reach's soundtrack was, at times, rather annoying? I.e. horrible? Not at all the whole time, but every now and then there would be some percussion or something playing for a while and I'd realize "That doesn't sound very good. Actually, I'd rather not be hearing that."
One thing I noticed, first during ODST, is that marty's music is VERY hard to miss and not appericate if it's not one of Halo's epic, beating peices of music.
I'm guessing partly because:
1. we associate halo SO much with that style of music now
2. Halo's music doesn't follow a set path in game, it can start up, get lower, stop, all depending on how you are playing.
3. relating to two, the music tends to blend so much with the game what it's hard to actually notice it unless it's loud aand out of place, likely as a result from 2.
