... Bungie made Myth? THE Myth? I used to play that all the time with my older brother when I was little.
Yep.

Its a shame that there's so much hate for halo now, and its starting to smear on Bungie, and most people forget how much they actually did before halo, and how great devs they are, right up their with valve.

I hate "am I the only one?" questions too, but here goes:

Am I the only one who thought the Reach's soundtrack was, at times, rather annoying? I.e. horrible? Not at all the whole time, but every now and then there would be some percussion or something playing for a while and I'd realize "That doesn't sound very good. Actually, I'd rather not be hearing that."
One thing I noticed, first during ODST, is that marty's music is VERY hard to miss and not appericate if it's not one of Halo's epic, beating peices of music.

I'm guessing partly because:

1. we associate halo SO much with that style of music now
2. Halo's music doesn't follow a set path in game, it can start up, get lower, stop, all depending on how you are playing.
3. relating to two, the music tends to blend so much with the game what it's hard to actually notice it unless it's loud aand out of place, likely as a result from 2.

You cannot say he's a bad composer. At all.
He's a bad composer.

Well, I can't MEAN it...But I can totally say it. :)

Hopefully, he can do something for Bioware. Their soundtracks are good, but never particularly memorable. While Halo's music haunts me.

Martin O'Donnel is one of the best video game composers ever. While the Master Chief themes (the monks) are truly epic, his best work is in ODST. The music is truly inspiring, especially when playing the Rookie in nighttime Mombasa.

Brilliant composer.

He did his best work with ODST. Seriously, that game's soundtrack is easily the best of the series.

Wonder what he'll do next...
It's funny that someone should share this opinion. Because not only do I feel that way, but I currently have this running in my second tab:

A good peice but nothing compared to Rain.
